Bad Hinge

Lower rack tracks are horrible.

The unit is a month old and a track melted during the wash cycle. Best Buy passed us off to the manufacturer, who let us know the part is on back order until late July. Very poor design. We have a brand new dishwasher and have to lift the lower rack in and out of the unit by hand.

Don't Purchase This Dishwasher

This was made with the cheapest possible parts - less than a year old and the wheels of the bottom rack have already all fallen off. And when they fall off, they roll down against the heating coil where they melt and become unusable. The touch screen gets stuck and is non-intuitive. DO NOT buy this dishwasher.

Failed in warranty period. Still not fixed.

Contacted GE. It took two weeks for them to find someone to evaluate to dishwasher. Now it has been determined that parts need replaced, but they are not available and must be ordered. It's been another two weeks with still no estimate for their delivery. With warranty service like this it almost seems as if I'll just need to purchase another dishwasher. Not a GE, of course.

Hand washing 4 now

I’m sure it’s in the fine print somewhere but Best Buy installers will not hardwire. Installers charged an additional $160 to put in outlet. Adding insult to injury, dishwasher doesn’t not working properly. Service scheduled but not until Jan 7th. If you have the option, always opt for a replacement, would have been able to get a new one installed 5 days earlier.

Item damaged
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up this dishwasher at the NJ warehouse due to the Coronavirus closure and didn’t realize the item was damaged until it was installed which cost me $150. I called Bestbuy at Manalapan for a replacement unit but I was charged again for the unit and installation. I was told they can’t do anything until the store reopens. Buying a dishwasher shouldn’t be this difficult but I guess there are bigger things to worry about now than the inconvenience.

Stopped working after 8 months.

We accepted delivery 12/16/2019 and now 8 months later it does not work. GE is hard to get in touch with and when you do, they are very polite but they do not have on-time communication with the companies they send out to repair. Ge says one thing and the repair company says another... repair to be made in 3 days only to find out they can not make it here for over 3 weeks.

Interior design does not allow for easy loading and does not accommodate as much space.I replaced a GE Profile with this GE Profile but the new one seems like a much inferior product.

just awful

The water supply iconnection is held in loosely, and kept falling off. The door didn't want to shut completely. Water leaked before we could even turn it on. Maybe we just got a bad one, but compared to the one that replaced it, it was flimsy and not well made.

Delivered missing parts

I spent 2 hours on Ludwigshafen bestbuy and was disconnected 2x. This has been an awful experience and I have a dishwasher w a lower rack that does not work. Also, this was the second Dishwasher that bestbuy delivered as the first dishwasher was damaged.

Tech appointment took two weeks. Tech confirmed needs new motor. Awaiting ETA. Overall best buy experience was poor from purchase to delivery and now this.

Junk....

It would not clean anything on the top rack. I had it replaced. No change. I used the GE recommended detergents and cleaners. Still slimy film on glassware. Lots of complaints on this model.
