The only reason for the 4 stars is that it requires more maintenance than I do! Clean me and descale me! But it does satisfy my craving for ice since I obviously lack iron!

This is exactly like the opal but maybe a little prettier for the countertop. Works great but I gave 4 stars Because the price could be a bit lower, IMO

When you pour a Coke over this ice, it fizzes just like I love it! Just ordered the side tank since I can tell this will be heavily used in our household!

The ice bin allows the melted ice to recycle tomake new ice. Refilling the water is very easy as well as emptying the unit.

There are way cheaper versions available. Make sure you buy the warranty because the unit while fail within the year. Because the units are not repairable, it’s a throw away item, like disposable tissue. Cleaning is an absolute chore a you quickly start to wonder why you bought this machine. Don’t get me wrong, when works the ice nuggets or “the good ice” is amazing, but that quickly gets old because of maintenance and cost.

I was afraid of going with one of the cheaper models and I so glad I chose this one. Only recommendation I have is get the one with the side tank. It sucks up the water fast!
