Loved it, but it can get loud, and the clean out is a little annoying as often as needed. And then one day it started to leak and never stopped. So either I got a lemon, or this didn't last.

Returned the ice maker and bought another based on the assurance that no others had the same issue. Second time around, same thing occurred. We are in the process of working with GE to get this second one returned to them and see if one direct from their factory will have better results. Perhaps this was a bad batch of machines to one best buy store. We will love it and the ice it makes if it continues to do so without the horrible sound. I have been told by GE that this is NOT the noise of it defrosting and is definitely not the way it was intended to operate. I will adjust my review once I know I have seen one work to its fullest.
