I bought mine, assuming the best. But my first one stopped working after 3 weeks. I did work with the warranty company to get a new one, which which didn't work properly out of the box. Very concerning that two of them I've received stopped working so soon after receiving them. When it does work, the ice is great. But I would think very hard about if the ice is worth the headache.

Super Little Ice Maker

It makes nugget ice, and that’s never the wrong option. It’s quiet, compact, and the ice stays frozen for quite a long time. Definitely worth every penny.

Needs re-engineering! Do not buy!

Squealing, grinding. Ridiculous for 600+ dollars. Opal support was zero help!! I was informed replacement machines were on back up. Could be up to two months to get it replaced. Obviously a sign that they’re having a lot of issues. Stay away! Buy the insignia. Ice is slightly different machine a little louder. But it works!! And it was cheaper.
