As of yesterday December 14,2021 the machine has the loudest squealing sound and is no longer making ice. For almost 700.00 I expected way more than 3 months of use. DO NOT BUY!! This machine is trash!

That was my fear. Works great until it doesn’t. We’ll see how warranty issues are handled and update when we hear something. We did get the extended plan with BB as well. Don’t think that helps until the manufacturers 1 year warranty is over.

The first one worked as it should until it started making a very loud noise. Obviously not right. Packed it up and returned to Best Buy for an exchange. Machine two showed signs of refurbishment and then leaked water from within the housing. Repack and back to BB. Exchanged for machine three. Seems to be working now now there weeks. The part? Having a Best Buy warranty on purchases saved me from blowing a head gasket. The BB staff solved my problem each time and left me genuinely glad to have purchased from Best Buy. So, I'm saying I think this ice maker is top notch BUT we had to go through two of them in a month and number three is still in the honeymoon stage. But the whole family just loves this ice.

The nugget ice is brilliant to begin with and then the machine starts making a horrible rattling noise. Ours has stopped working at a year and a half all together with the recommended regular maintenance. It stopped recognizing the side reservoir had water and kept saying it was empty. Then I noticed it was leaking on the counter beneath it. Really disappointed.
