Then out of nowhere it just starts leaking like a siv, like someone poked a hole in the bottom and its destroys the cabinets because it happened at night and drenched all the wood cabinets because it was like dumping a few gallons of water in the middle of the night and then just soaking in our drawers and cabinets all night, even got a powerstrip wet and could have been a fire hazard if I didnt see it first thing in the morning. So we contact Opal and they want $250 to look at it to possibly fix it, but tell us if they are unable to fix it we are out ANOTHER $150 if they "have to scrap the device." So disappointed in GE! Buyer Beware!

We purchased it on Nov 8, 2023. It fit nicely on our counter. We followed the set up process instructions to the letter & it was making ice in no time. We truly enjoyed this little machine, but after 3 weeks it began to make very loud groaning and squealing noises. I exchanged it for an identical product hoping that it was a one off issue & will review it after 6 months unless it fails before that time.
