Takes to long to make ice, love the little nugget style ice.

Having it over a year it’s been a very reliable ice maker and kids love it.

This thing is great! If you happen to forget to add water it will tell you when it needs more water. Its kinda cool that you can connect it to your phone or smart device.

Don’t expect GE to stand behind this very expensive icemaker. The nugget ice is brilliant to begin with and then the machine starts making a horrible rattling noise. Ours has stopped working at a year and a half all together with the recommended regular maintenance. It stopped recognizing the side reservoir had water and kept saying it was empty. Then I noticed it was leaking on the counter beneath it. Really disappointed.

This product serves it's purpose, I have had trouble connecting to the wifi (iPhone 12 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra)

I like the inprovements iver the previous version. The smaller reservouir is much easy to handle.

Must have! Works perfect. Bought the total tech just in case I need a warranty! My family uses it all the time.

Works very well. It isn't silent, but considering what is going on under the hood... it is quiet. We only run it once a week and store the ice made to use during the week.

Horrible absolutely horrible. Straight out of the box machine makes the loudest god awful noise, that will last between a minute and 5 minutes. Only way to stop it other than unplugging unit. We had the original unit for about 2 years and it never made noises like this. There’s an entire Facebook group dedicated to this machine and the awful noises it makes. GE has no fix for it and is unresponsive, they blame water quality and/or maintenance. Ours was making this noise within 24 hours, and we have a whole house filtration system. The noise was audible throughout a 3500sq house. We returned it within 14 days.

Worth every penny, my roommate punched me when I walked in with it but now she’s in love with it so yeah well worth it.

I debated for a long time before I purchased this ice machine. Don't be like me. Lol. This machine is by far the best ice machine I've owned and well worth the cost.

Made ice well but not crazy about nugget ice and after about 6 months started making a horrible noise. It was driving us crazy so I returned it

My friend got me this for my birthday I was so happy cause I had been wanting one and when I seen it it made me want to cry I love this u can take it with you on trips

Thing is such a pain to keep clean or it literally SCREAMS at you! Then out of nowhere it just starts leaking like a siv, like someone poked a hole in the bottom and its destroys the cabinets because it happened at night and drenched all the wood cabinets because it was like dumping a few gallons of water in the middle of the night and then just soaking in our drawers and cabinets all night, even got a powerstrip wet and could have been a fire hazard if I didnt see it first thing in the morning. So we contact Opal and they want $250 to look at it to possibly fix it, but tell us if they are unable to fix it we are out ANOTHER $150 if they "have to scrap the device." So disappointed in GE! Buyer Beware!

This ice is amazing, when it starts to make mushy ice it means its time to clean it... it does NOT mean its broken. Just clean it and it will be back to normal.

I love this countertop ice maker. It's a great improvement over our last one so far. Quieter as well as easier to clean - plus it makes "Sonic ice!" Which I cannot resist. :)

I love my ice maker!!! I read reviews where ppl complained of it being noisy.... Not a issue for us. I do however wish we did not have to refill the reservoir so often.
