Took us a while to notice, but apparently was running down the wall and into the cabinet below that we have now discovered. Took off the sides to see what was happening when running and water leaking from multiple points internally. No solution as it is out of warranty

Not sure if it’s a motor issue, but it makes loud noises and we need to turn it off and back on constantly.

Total Failure- Paid $600 and NO ICE

The ice is great when the machine works, however they barely make it to the end of the warranty period of 1 year. It stopped making ice and says it's in defrost mode after about 14 months. What a waste of $600! GE should be embarrassed to put their name on such an inferior product.

GE will not help they told me to pay $250 if i need it to be fixed. because its out of warranty..for $600 not worth to buy it only to work for less than 16 months. And also I spent lots of time cleaning this ice maker every few weeks .

Dead in 2 months and warranty support is slow

GE support is really hard to get a hold of. They try to help, but if it's broken you'll spend at least a week of your life trying to get it replaced. No clue how long it will actually take since I'm a week in and still trying to get some help. Emailed them back 6 days ago after trying everything they asked and have received no response. Called and have no idea how long they're going to leave me on hold.

Horrible squeling noise

The last one I bought didn't even take time to start making the noise it just started right away almost like they sent me a new one that was returned and never fixed. Its horrible!
