Stopped working after 1 week. Working through the repair process is with a 3rd party and a pain. Still no machine after 2 months. Even when it did work the ice was watery.

Replaced under warranty and second one just stopped working. We changed location of machine - only use distilled and still stopped working twice! Very frustrating for an expensive machine!

Posted .We appreciate you sharing your concerns regarding your Profile Opal. We encourage you to ensure it has 3" of air clearance on all sides and back. Make sure the side tank is pulled forward and not blocking any vents on the side. We also recommend cleaning the vents on the side of the Opal with a hand vacuum or an attachment from your vacuum cleaner. Also, try unplugging your Opal for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. If the issue persists, please call Opal Support at1-866-907-6718.
Ice machine

After numerous phone calls of being told 2nd level would follow up the second level basically said. yes we have WiFi and we almost talk to our own app, but not to Alexa or any other app. I do not care what thy told you at the store or in our advertising, we have just started looking at what we might want to include.

Sad that I’m out that much money

Wish I had returned it

Cleaning it is the only resolution and that works for 2-3 days. Should have returned it or bought a protection plan because this thing is going to break.

Purchased end of February 2021, called in for trouble shooting in June promised a new unit and still waiting November 1st…Don’t waste your money.

Product is a piece of junk that only lasted 1 month past warranty. And that is when I didn't have issues with the product during that time. I would not recommend this item to anyone.

If the Opal isn’t making ice, you may want to make sure the ice bin is pushed completely into place and/or try resetting the unit by unplugging it for 3 to 4 hours. Will not uprake any water for a clean cycle or to make ice. Customer service wasnt not helpful tried troubleshooting with every oktion on interent. Trash for the price.
