Best purchase! Love the good ice! Highly recommend.

I absolutely love my ice maker. I can start in from another room, or even schedule it when to start.

Love this ice macine. Nice crunchie ice. Fast recovery. And you can operate with your phone.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my wife. She loves it. Not too loud. Just make sure you have the counter space for it. Definitely recommend if you are a nugget ice lover. It will reduce the cups of chic fila ice in my freezer lol.

This is partly my fault so I don't want to bad mouth this ice maker, it just is not going to suit my needs and I think the product description could be considerably better. I like a minimum of 50 lbs of ice for fishing, about 20 for food and beverage and at least 30 for fish. When I saw that it's a 24# ice maker I thought this could work, realizing that I'd have to dump ice several times in a cooler. What I did not know, and what appears no where in the description, is that the bin is a paltry 3 lbs. That means I'd have to start making ice the morning before a trip and dump it into an extremely high quality cooler a couple of dozen times. Since I normally know I'll only be fishing during the weekends it could work I suppose. I could make ice during the week and then have this as a nifty party ice maker for at-home social events. Anyway, this is the review I wish I'd have had the benefit of reading before purchase. If you're not needing as much ice as me, this could be a good fit.

Do not waste your money on this machine. While it is a great ice maker and we love the ice it made, it dies after about a year. You would think a machine that cost $600 would last longer than a year. We took great care of our machine cleaned it regularly and only used distilled water in it as recommended yet it only lasted a little over a year. You are better off just going to sonic and buying a bag of ice to keep in your freezer than buying this machine.

Bought it open box. It was listed as Excellent condition. However it was missing the bottom tray. Other than that, the ice maker works as new.

It was a hit Christmas present for my wife who loves ice from Sonic. Easy set up and had ice in about 15 minutes. It kept up with a house full of guest during the holidays.

Dont waste your money on this. We havent had ours even two years and its already broken. GE wont fix it and you cant buy replacement parts. $600.00 piece of crap worked good when it worked but a huge waste of money for the short life.

Love love love it. It fills up really fast. You will defiantly need the extra tank. I will never be without one again. Seriously!

I really didn't think I needed an ice maker, but I ended up with this model and I totally love it. It has been very reliable, never any problems. I was worried at first about how noisy it would be but was happy to discover it was no worse than the ice maker in my fridge.

Buy once. Cry once. Tried other ice machines in a lower price range. And ended up returning 2 for issues. Finally bit the bullet and bought this one. Best one of the all 3 I’ve tried. So don’t skimp. Just buy the opal and be done.

Actually works really well. Pricey but my wife and her whole family love it. It may kind of save you money because I’m my case, she no longer needs to buy a bunch of junk inside a gas station while she’s in there for “the good ice”.

I purchased this ice maker for my place of employment . The ice maker was purchased for my company’s Executive Management Floor and as far as I know I haven’t heard any complaints. So it looks like I made a wise purchase.
