Love this ice machine!!! My only complaint would be that it is quite noisy but I’m willing to live with it because the ice is awesome!

I love the small ice nuggets. The ice maker does take up a lot of counter space and can be a little loud but well worth it.

Great ice maker, makes ice quickly! Makes the Sonics which I love. Easy to assemble.

Love it.. its constantly running. Ice cubes are soft. Plenty of ice for the whole fam!

Love the opal ice machine....love the ice... BUT..already having problems! This is the second Opal. First lasted 3 weeks and quit making ice...ADD WATER...continued to come up! Replace with a second. After few weeks...ADD WATER.. keeps coming up. Have to thoroughly clean and prime pump to get it working! Now working 3 straight days. If stops again with ADD WATER, will return. Obviously the machine has a defective part. Do Not know why GE doesn't correct the issue! On going problem and ridiculous for a $600 machine.

It's so nice, I bought it twice! One of my favorite things, this ice maker produces soft crunch ice. Bought one for my office that the team can't get enough of and then one for the home where the wife and kids are all over it day and night. If there are any complaints, I wish i could get a bigger one and the wifi is silly. Otherwise a great product.

This is the best ice Machine on earth. Besides the nugget ice the Bluetooth feature is my favorite. If I’m at work and want some ice made before I get home. I just go the app and start my ice machine an hour to an hour and a half before I get off. Also in the app will let you know when it’s time to clean the ice machine.

This was a present for my husband. I thought it a bit ridiculous since we have an ice maker in our refrigerator. Well, it is a hit with everyone in the house (yes, including me). The ice somehow enhances the flavor of your drink. It doesn’t melt fast as one would think. Now to the machine itself. You literally plug it in, add water, and there it goes! It stops when the bucket is full. Scoop out what you want and push in the drawer. It senses when ice was removed and fills it right back up. We’ve created a drink bar specifically for our Opal. No complaints!

Nice Machine. We like the bullet ice and this machine does a great job of making it. Having the reservoir on the side is beneficial.

The Opal makes ice really quickly and is so easy to use. Had a party last night and maker kept up, and most I think want to buy one.

Been working great for over 4 weeks! It's a little work cleaning it every week and descaling it every other week or 2 but worth the hassle. The ice it makes is great and I figure eventually this will pay for itself since the wife won't be buying Sonic ice any longer. Sorry Sonic. I hope you survive. :)

Me and my husband love ice so we would usually get one those big ice bags every 2 weeks or so (depending if we had any visitors). Since it's been hot we've been running out of ice faster than usual and going to the store to get more is becoming a problem because they're usually sold out. This bad boi is pricey, but so worth it. I no longer have to go search for ice in this Cali heat and it's the perfect addition to have for my coffee bar.

Absolutely in love with this ice make completely worth it! Had it for about 2 months now & its still no disappointments or issues.

So far this ice machine is amazing! I was one of the people that bought a Samsung fridge that has a broken ice maker. This has replaced it even better. I no longer have to care about the stupid ice makers that are built into fridges. I am going to make sure to clean it every week like the manual says so that I don't get the horrible sounds in my ice maker like people are showing. You can even schedule it to make ice right as you are getting ready for work, then make yourself a huge cup of ice for your day!

This is a great ice maker. It works well for a family of 4 and if we need to stock up, we can bag it and put extra in the freezer. The only thing about this ice maker, which may be a common thing with all of them, is the grinding sound it makes while it is in ice making mode. You wouldn't notice it much if a radio or vent were on in the kitchen, but it only make the sound when it is refilling the ice bin.

Best Ice Machine! This is the 2nd one I bought. My first one lasted 4 years and I never turned it off!! I know people review the "noise" but I have not had this issue. Ice produces fast too. Keep up with the cleaning cycles!

If your looking for that rare crunchy chewable ice look no further. This is for you. We have one for a family of 6 and this keeps up and is exactly what we needed. Great for bottles for aports. Work. Walks. Gym. You name it. Only thing is though … spend the little extra for the side reservoir as youll go through a lot of water and its a pain to refillif you dont have it
