    So far I have not had any problems but it seems to be slow in making the ice (although the information does not claim to make ice quickly). If you are looking for something that makes a large volume you'd be more satisfied with a larger unit. For my needs this is working fine

    Bought this GE Profile ice maker and had trouble with it defrosting very often. Called GE to report problem and they said to just returned it to Best Buy and get a new one. Returned to Best Buy and picked up new unit with out any hassles. Great investment and got lots of compliments from friends and family about the ice at the next party we hosted.
