Makes great nugget ice. On day 2 however it started making a faint squealing noise. I had noticed from other reviews people had mentioned the same thing after 4 months. I didn’t waste any time to do an exchange. Still waiting on the new unit to arrive. Giving it one more chance because it does do what it’s supposed to quite well.

This machine is awesome! When you’re wanting that “good ice”, this will surely deliver. We are an active household of 4, and even with multiple trips daily to the ice bin, I don’t recall ever seeing it empty. It was a bit on the pricey side, and BB was able to do a price match a few days after I purchased it when they lowered the price, but still worth the spend.

This is amazing little machine and we really like it. It puts out great little pellet size ice and you can have it make ice all day turn it off overnight and get up the next morning and still have a bin full of ice. The side water reservoir is nice, too since you don't have to remove the bin to keep it filled with water. As ice melts in the bin it will drain into the internal reservoir and make more ice with it. GE did an excellent job designing this little ice machine.

As much as I love the ice this produces, this ice machine is crazy loud. We have now had 3 of these ice makers before permanently returning. The first lasted around 9 months before making such loud noises we returned for a new one. Both the second and the 3rd ice maker started making noises within 1 month. This delivers the best ice I've had, but it would be making ice and screaming in the middle of the night- waking us up :(

Works amazing! The ice is on the softer side which me and my wife love! Works fast and super easy to set up.

I was very concerned with the prize of this ice machine because I’ve bought a few ice makers in the past for cheaper that went out on me but this one is so much better and worth the money I love the cleaning option on the machine and of course that it makes nugget ice yummy

[Employee of bestbuy] My advice is to make sure to follow the cleaning instructions and dont leave it in a dust prone area, it will keep making fresh nugget ice all day if you keep the pump and resivour clear.

it makes ice quick, and is good, however it doesn't fill up to the top without pressing ice making again, and when it freezes up, which is often, it makes loud noises to defrost but was told by maker it is normal. works ok but not for me.

We were hesitant to buy, but we have a Samsung frig w/a know ice maker issue that we had already repaired a couple of times. This time we opted to put the cost of repair in to this ice maker - best decision ever…wish we had done it sooner…if you are in Texas, this is like Sonic ice - LOVE

For making great ice I would give 5 stars. The only way we make ice now is to schedule it at night for the next day. This machine makes so much noise during the ice-making stage you can't hear yourself think.

When it works, it is a great machine. We our current ly on our 4th machine. 1st lasted 2 years, second lasted 1 1/2 years and last one lasted 6months. As long as you get the extra warranty you're good. Learned that after the first one. I almost bought a different brand this time but like I stated when running it is great.

This maker is fantastic for small cubed ice. It makes ice very quickly and is super easy to use

One of the offices at work had one of these ice machines. We use alot of ice at home. When i decided to by one my husband was completely against it mearly because of the price. We have had this machine a little over a year, it has been the best investment. All of our guests are envious!

We love the ice that it makes. But its very loud and the tank on side does not empty in botto. Tank on its own. We have to fill water all the time and it is not what we really wanted to do.

Loved it but if randomly stopped working after 2 yrs

The ice is great, but unfortunately just after 1 year of owning, mine has stopped working. Loud squealing noises, no ice production. I would except better longevity out of a 600$ ice maker.

absolute best ice maker, ge version is so much better than the nugget maker w/out ge name... i had both and its worth the extra $. Smooth corners, ice bucket can open and stay attached, buttons are better and has a light :) i can't live w/o this. I had 2 of the non GE ones... and now a GE one... life expectancy 3+ years... i hope

I dont know what i would do without my ice maker, it makes ice so fast and it is very easy to use.

Love, love, love this ice maker!!! No issues. Looks and feels high quality. Produces ice very quickly and keeps on as you use it- just keep water going in, and it will keep putting ice out. I use spring water or better quality to keep it in good shape. The less build up in the machine. When you aren’t going to use it for 3-4 days, you have to drain it out so it doesn’t get stagnet. But that seldom happens.
