Everyone that comes to our house always comments about our “sonic” ice and asks where we purchased it from. The setup was super easy and it’s relatively easy to clean( diluted bleach wash). I highly recommend the GE Opel 2.0. I did purchase an extended warranty. Although our machine arrived dented CS replaced it right away.

We’ve had 3 of these and each on started failing within 6 months. Wanted so badly for it to work out but ultimately ended up getting our money back on it. The motor starts to make really loud screeching noises and it will continue to do so until unplugged, which then obviously defeats the purpose.

This machine makes the PERFECT nugget ice! We researched a lot and decided to go with the gold standard despite the significantly higher cost and we are not disappointed. For peace of mind we purchased the BestBuy care package because this is one small appliance we do not want to go without!

Best countertop ice maker

This makes nice dense pellet ice that lasts all day in an insulated bottle. Definitely get the model with the side water tank because it uses a lot of water. We do a fair amount of ice and I end up refilling the tank every 3 days or so.

Well you don’t until you get this dope ice maker! Greatest purchase ever. I say that at least one a day as I’m opening the ice drawer and scooping out perfectly formed hospital like ice! I’m middle class, but this makes me feel like I could party with Jess Bezos. Everyone should buy. Worth it. I would give this 15 stars if I could!

The ice quality is exactly as expected (nuggets, Sonic ice, hospital ice) - whatever name it goes by. It is much better than the "test tube" cubes made with our previous countertop ice maker. The entire family is very pleased with this purchase. Although a bit expensive, I recommend it very much!

Great Ice Maker - Keep it Clean and it works well

Keep it clean and it works great. Using the bluetooth controls is easy for setting up the cube maker schedules. We run make ice twice a day and it is plenty for our normal, dailly needs.

Its only been a few weeks but it works great so far and im really hoping with regular maintenance i wont become another statistic and it will continue producing this amazing ice for many years to come.
