I have been waiting years to get this. So Happy I did!

Definitely worth the money!! If you love the "Chick-Fil-A" ice as I call it, you should definitely invest in this icemaker. I have gotten my entire family on this ice!

We purchased In May 2024, after about 5 months of use it broke . Thankfully we got some money back for the ice maker due to it being under manufacturer warranty,. We did purchase the additional extended warranty through geek squad, but didn’t receive the money back for that even though it wasn’t used.

NOTHING BUT THE BEST. THAT IS WHY THE STORE IS CALLED BEST BUY.

The wife and kids love it! Every family should have one in their home. Not as noisy as some of the reviews I read.

We loved it. Then it started going into Defrost Mode. I tried all the suggestions. No help. We called GE and got someone that could only help with the WIFI end. Still trying to get it fixed. My advice. Go to sonic and buy ice from them

Bought as an anniversary gift. The wife loves it and so do the kids. Also the lady at the store who helped me was super sweet, knowledgeable, and outgoing.

Horrible absolutely horrible. Straight out of the box machine makes the loudest god awful noise, that will last between a minute and 5 minutes. Only way to stop it other than unplugging unit. We had the original unit for about 2 years and it never made noises like this. There’s an entire Facebook group dedicated to this machine and the awful noises it makes. GE has no fix for it and is unresponsive, they blame water quality and/or maintenance. Ours was making this noise within 24 hours, and we have a whole house filtration system. The noise was audible throughout a 3500sq house. We returned it within 14 days.

Must have! Works perfect. Bought the total tech just in case I need a warranty! My family uses it all the time.

Takes to long to make ice, love the little nugget style ice.

The ice maker was a little bigger than I first expected when I ordered it online. But it fits well in my home and has come in handy by not having an extra drink stop in the morning.

I purchased this machine in October 2021. It’s great ice but the noise is unreal. It started with the defrost mode and was tolerable. Now it’s so loud it can be heard through the entire house and upstairs. I guess if you could keep the machine in a garage or a sound proof cabinet it would be great.

Great ice maker. I really like the ice better than "sonic" ice. Easy to use and set up. A little pricey compared to other countertop ice machines, but; well worth it if you want "Sonic" ice.

Worth every penny, my roommate punched me when I walked in with it but now she’s in love with it so yeah well worth it.

This thing is great! If you happen to forget to add water it will tell you when it needs more water. Its kinda cool that you can connect it to your phone or smart device.

Thing is such a pain to keep clean or it literally SCREAMS at you! Then out of nowhere it just starts leaking like a siv, like someone poked a hole in the bottom and its destroys the cabinets because it happened at night and drenched all the wood cabinets because it was like dumping a few gallons of water in the middle of the night and then just soaking in our drawers and cabinets all night, even got a powerstrip wet and could have been a fire hazard if I didnt see it first thing in the morning. So we contact Opal and they want $250 to look at it to possibly fix it, but tell us if they are unable to fix it we are out ANOTHER $150 if they "have to scrap the device." So disappointed in GE! Buyer Beware!
