Absolutely Love our Portable Ice machine, with three of us in the household we never run out of ice. Replenishes quickly and no issues. Just need to periodically do a cleaning. Awesome product

I bought this for my wife that likes to chew on ice all day long and she can’t get enough!

Great ice maker. Easy to set up. Great nugget ice. Only reason for 4 stars is ice maker arrived dented. Packaging came apart during shipping. Decided to keep it anyway since I had waited for it to be instock since Christmas and I decided to keep it and not send back.

We use this in our RV. Don’t want ice from the water in our holding tanks. We use Zephyrhills bottled water. Nice to have fresh clean ice anytime we want. Machine draws too much current to run on battery power. But ice lasts hours without power. Just crank the generator for an hour or so to regenerate ice again. Love it!

Love the ice it makes and easy to clean and maintain.

We purchased this because our ice maker on our fridge went out. We decided to purchase a new fridge instead. Even though we purchased a new fridge with an ice maker. But we still use this ice maker more than the one on the fridge. We love this ice maker. This is an excellent ice maker for those that entertain a lot.

I got this for my wife for Christmas and this ice maker is used all the time now. When we have company over everyone loves having the “boujee” ice.

I had the first edition Opal machine and it recently quit working so we ordered the GE version. So far I am very impressed and like it more than the previous edition. I am an ice snob and this machine TOTALLY satisfies my snobbiness! My friends love coming over to the house bc they know they get to have "sonic" ice! I know it is pricey but it is WORTH EVERY PENNY

Have one of these, liked it so much that I bought one for my son and his family. Efficient and easy to use. Great chewable ice cubes.

Presently, I am dealing with a high pitched squeal that drives me crazy. At other times, it makes a extremely loud flatulent noise that had me yelling at my kid it was so gross. It was just so authentic sounding lol. It does this a lot. The ice itself is great, but this noise is just driving me crazy. Probably returning it within the next few days (when my return option expires).

Love this ice machine and use it every day the ice is perect bite size and great on every drink. Works as you would expect and have had no issue the only thing is the cleaning but you get used to it.

Wife has wanted one of these for 2 years, but I couldn’t justify $609 for ice. However she finally wore me down. It’s a bit noise, but works great! Only thing I would like to see changed for future versions is a refrigerated bin.

It was cool till it started being annoying and loud asf when making ice. it made loud screeching noises and sometimes would not make ice and would act like it didn’t have no water smh. also using regular sink water would leave the machine minerallyish and so it was a pain to clean. so if i were to rebuy, try and use purified water and maybe it won’t act up. otherwise love the ice. buy the warranty- trust

Absolutely love this machine! The ice is soft and crunchy, and it came at the perfect time with this heat wave! Live without it!

I've been thru about 5 different ice makers, and the GE Profile Opal, is the best I've ever had. I can completely empty the ice bucket and it'll completely fill it back up in about 2 hours. The capacity of this machine is such that I don't believe that I'll ever be without ice. I like that I can see the level of the refill tank, at a glance, to assure that it doesn't run low.

I have had 2 other countertop ice makers that have since passed. both made very solid ice in different ways. love this thing. starts spitting ice out very quickly and makes the great nugget ice. the outboard reservoir is handy, others are just what they can hold internally and they need filling often. great countertop maker

Great machine. Easy to use and install. I used another counter top ice maker, and it would struggle to make ice. The Opal is amazing and well worth the premium price. Even though it has no refrigeration, I still have ice in the container 12 hours after I turn it off. You won’t regret the purchase.

I dont know what i would do without this. Its perfect ice for my drinks since its been over 100 degrees for three weeks. Its easy to use and love that i can set a schedule to have ice freshly made when I get home.

We use the heck out of this. Probably put 1.5 gallons of water through it per day. Yes, it does make a little noise. We tucked it next to refrigerator so it's not out in the open. Love the ice. My wife will never be without one now. My only complaint is how often I have to refill it.
