The machine needs to be sanitized every week, the process is easy but can seem tedious. I personally like the reminder so I know there’s not mold/bacteria build up, which was a problem I had with the smaller ice machines. Ice is made quickly!

The ice maker is incredibly fast, but can be a bit out. This model is an improvement on the previous one in terms of hard water scale issues- good to have the integrated filter.

This one has a hard water filter/descaler which helps so much with our hard water even though we have a water softening system with filtration. This has made the ice even better
