We finally made the decision to get our own. We are loving it! Sure, some of the maintenance might be a bit much, but saving us from having to drive in to town makes it all worth it!

The key is to start the ice maker about an hour before to allow for production.

We couldn't decide which ice maker to buy but im extremely happy we decided for this one. Very quiet always has ice ready. One of the best parts is we can control it with our phone so when we get home from a hot day the ice is ready to have a refreshing drink.

Fast ice maker, easy to operate, makes a ton of ice ongoing. Pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for. Nugget ice is as advertised. However, not sure I want nugget ice as my primary ice type. Miss the bigger cubes that melt slower. For this reason, I may return and purchase a machine they makes “regular ice.”

Our machines were cleaned and cared for just as directed. We pet and pamper all of them but between 12-18 months on each of them, they die. Obviously we love the ice enough to keep buying the machines but my best advise is DO NOT buy without purchasing the extended insurance coverage
