Is a good machine. It could be a bit less noisy will be great

I mean, there's so much I can say about this item; I love and hate it at the same time. The cleaning of this item is relatively easy, but warnings come up after a few days of use. The side tank is amazing, but sometimes the machine doesn't read the water. But on the plus side, the ice is amazing.

A Nugget Ice Maker that works very well and is reliable.

This is my favorite purchase. Best gift to myself.

Love it’s much quieter than the other model I bought before this ice maker. The descale lights shows up frequently; even after cleaning 3 days earlier? My family loves the ice nuggets!

We previously had the Opal 1.0 and had issues so we were kind of skeptical going with GE again. However, with this model it seemed like they addressed the issues with overheating causing the unit not to make ice. On this model there are two radiators and a fan on the back along with an removable air filter. These additions so far seem to keep the unit a lot cooler. Hopefully, we can get more than two years out of it. We love it so far. Gets ice in about 15 mins and full in about 4 hours 2-3 hours.

The 9ce from this machine is perfect. From the shape to the crunch it goes into any drink from moscow mules to your kids apple juice. Cleaning is easy and quiet operation.

So far, the ice maker is great and makes the ice promptly and I like the small ice that it makes.

I love this ice maker. It makes the best chewable nugget ice out there. But keep in mind it comes at a price, be prepared for routine cleaning of your machine to keep it performing at its peak. To me it’s worth the time and effort because I like to eat a lot of ice. This is my second GE Opal and I highly recommend it!

Great ice nuggets. This ice machine is will cease to operate should it be plugged and operating over two days. definitely not a huge fan of the cost in regards to its operation. At this point you're better off putting money towards a refrigerator that has this option of ice.

Amazing product that kept continually kept the ice flowing when our fridge malfunctioned! Would highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a great ice machine!

I think this is the fourth opel ice maker I’ve had in the past three years. If it wasn’t for Best Buy’s protection plan, I’d buy something else. The last two squealed terribly bad. And now this one needs to be sanitized every five days; which seems ridiculous. I spend more time sanitizing the ice make than i do using it. I think it’s time for me to move on from this very expensive ice maker and find something of higher quality. Very disappointed in the product, extremely satisfied with Best Buy’s service.
