Great ice maker! I have a smaller ice maker in my basement but this one i have in my kitchen. It makes ice so much quicker and i love the size of small chunks it makes. Its a little loud at times but not always. Definitely recommend this item.

Lots of cleaning required, but it's automatic so not horrible to do. Great ice!

We love the small nugget ice! The machine makes ice quickly! It is not quiet but not annoyingly loud either. It is great that it has the side water tank as you don’t have to pull the ice tray out to fill the water reservoir. Quite simple to use!

Very expensive and quite heavy to move around the counter. If you like nugget ice this will fit the bill. I am using Primo bottled water out of a machine (RO), so hopefully the required maintenance will not be as gruesome as others have noted. I do like iced coffee in the warm months and nugget ice is not appropriate. Melts instantly. Only been used about a dozen times, but so far so good. I would reconsider spending the $$$.

Honestly perfect.. just loud but tolerable white noise. So I see it as a bonus haha

Wow. What a great gift. I have been told this was best gift ever at least 10 times. If you like soft ice this is the machine for you. Low maintenance.

Great ice. We've owned three of them. My only complaint is they only last a couple of years before they need to be replaced.

I was hesitant to buy this ice maker, but we are loving it so far. The ice is the perfect Sonic ice.

The device works good, but it will show to add water when the side tank is full. I’ve had other older models and they all have had this same problem. I was hoping by upgrading, that this problem would be resolved, but it’s not. If it wasn’t for that issue, it would be a 5 star rating.

Love it so far. Many talked about the noise it makes, but it really isn't all that loud. With anything else, you get used to it. We use it all day, everyday.

My grandchildren are in so many activities keeping ice for water bottles was impossible now they love the ice maker makes their lives so much easier

So far, this has been a wonderful addition to my home. The ice is made quickly, easily, and is great quality. Main drawbacks for me are cost and some concerns on longevity.

The 9ce from this machine is perfect. From the shape to the crunch it goes into any drink from moscow mules to your kids apple juice. Cleaning is easy and quiet operation.

It's been a fantastic purchase! We were on vacation in Santa Rosa Beach Florida. We had sixteen people staying at the rental house. The ice maker in the refrigerator was terrible. We ran out and bought the Opal 2.0 Ultra. It worked like a champ out of the box and it is being used in our kitchen right now. Great product!

It's clearly the best on the market but that being said it's far from perfect. They claim like every other company that you only need to clean it once a month and change the filter and it will be fine... Not true... You will need to remove the top and clean the interior reservoir every 2-3 weeks or it will get moldy.

The GE Profile Opal 2.0 Ultra Nugget Ice Maker works well and produces nugget ice in a reasonable time frame. The key is to start the ice maker about an hour before to allow for production.

One of our basic must have appliances now. No need for freezer icemaker esp thru the door which always has problems. Also that you don't have to collect and move the ice out like other portable ice makers. Had first model for 2 1_/2 years. Replaced after first one died Be sure to buy B Buy warranty.

Only thing I'd change is the scoop holder NOT hold water that's left behind on the scoop. Otherwise, this thing is AWESOME AND MAKES A FULL TUB SOOOO QUICKLY!!!!
