Our prior GE microwave had an option I liked a lot--- when rhe microwave program finished I could press the large white button to get the microwave to turn on for about another 15 seconds. I miss that option.

The only thing I over looked was the only thing that lights up is the clock, on the bottom panel. I would be very nice is the bottom AND INSIDE DOOR PANEL WOULD LIGHT UP. Other than that it's a great buy.

(1) I tried the air fryer and was extremely disappointed. It took forever to cook the items and they didn’t crisp up enough for me. (2) I like to set the power level down to bout a 7 when reheating food but still can’t figure out how to do that. When I try the screen tells me I can’t for some reason. There’s an auto reheat function but it works off a small list of foods. (3). It does not come with a user Manuel and even the one on-line is not complete in my experience. I go to YOUTUBE a lot to figure out some things but that’s a hassle. (4). I haven’t tried the convection function yet so I can’t speak to that. (5) Personally I would prefer the good old fashion push buttons in lieu of the knob

I would have given five stars if the appliance came with more detailed descriptions on how to use the air fryer and convection oven for cooking specific items. (Pork compared to steak and chicken. How do you control air fryer temperature?) My sales rep, nor store employee, could answer my questions. The rep gave me a number to call, but I’ve been too busy to do so, . . . and I still have operational issues and questions, which should have been provided with the purchase. I have a great appliance, but little directions on how to use it properly, which is disappointing. If anyone knows where I can download this info, please let me know.

The Owners Manual can be downloaded from our site. If you'd like to reach out to us via a private message on Social Media with your model number we can send you a link to download and save on your computer. We are happy to provide some tips that will help you in the meantime. How the Air Fry feature works:
This feature uses heating elements to rapidly raise the temperature of the air inside the oven. A fan circulates the heated air throughout the oven, over and around food. Because the heated air is kept constantly moving, not permitting a layer of cooler air to develop around the food, some foods cook faster than in regular oven cooking.
Note: The Air Fry Temperature can't be changed it will default to 425 degrees. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are always happy to help! Joyce@GEA
