It works fine...less than 1000w. so can take a bit longer than a more powerful microwave...but it's te only one that will fit into my cabinet space.

I didn't have a lot of options short of getting the replacement model for our old MW. It hung under a corner cabinet and I was hoping for an exact replacement size. The mount is different (another $50) by an inch or two. Still, I managed to hang it successfully. Way over priced though. Don't go custom with a MW.

This is a serious upgrade from my 1992 GE Spacemaker (that was still going strong) and it looks great, but boy does this thing show fingerprints from my messy kids. My old one was white and I kind of wish I didn't pay the extra $100, or whatever it was, for the stainless steel.

Replaced and old GE profile. Fits well but gets lots of fingerprints. A lot quieter!

Looks great and very quiet compared to our previous model which was 20 years old. Would give five stars except popcorn function does not heat long enough.

You buy this model to hang it from your cabinets, leaving the counter free. It is the only cabinet deep unit made that is not an over the stove unit. It is low powered (800 watts) and built like a tin can. It is also expensive for what it is.

Best of all space saving on the counter. Another best is so quiet operating. GE quality is excellent. We all like it very much at home. Works Great. Heats up leftovers and cooks also very well.

Because I had a GM profile space maker 2.0, I had no chance other than buying this 800W microwave for over $300. Had to buy the trim too, once the previous model did not fit. Kinda of wasting resources from both ways: money and aluminum. Good thing is it fit the original space perfectly, and it was easy to install by myself.

Ordered this microwave to replace a supposedly identical one -- exactly same part number. Beware the sizes are not exactly the same, plus the mounting holes are in different places. I noticed the microwave is no longer branded as "GE Profile" but simply "GE". As a result, installation/replacement was not as simple as anticipated.

I purchased model #PEM31SF2SS to replace the old model PEM31SM3SS. The new model is very cheaply made in comparison. When you shut the door it sounds like a tin can and the numbers are so small and hard to read.

Needed a microwave sooner rather than later so went to Best Buy as I knew they were available. The oven is the same brand as I had purchased in 2006, but larger, making it unable to fit into the cabinet. Overall, the operation is similar but with a few idiosyncrasies. The key pad is not as easy to use, but overall I will not replace it until it shows some age.

Super sleek microwave -- if you're like me and previously had an old GE Spacemaker mounted below a cabinet -- this is a perfect replacement and has better looks + bigger space to boot. Note that it is a tad taller than an older model.

These are very nice small microwaves that are great to hang under a upper cabinet. They are not the most powerful microwave, but are adequate for warming things up. We have quite a few of them in our office for warming lunches.

Good microwave generally, although as everyone knows it's very expensive since it's the only one that fits in that sized space. Our most recent lasted 4.5 years. I bought a new one that had a clicking/grinding sound in the turntable, but I returned it and the replacement is good. Replacement at Best Buy was easy.

It works. My old microwave died after 27 years and I needed a replacement that could be mounted under the kitchen cabinet. This unit was the only one made for under-cabinet mounting. The buttons are not in convenient spots and they are hard to push and not lighted. I just want to set the time and push start. This oven thinks it is smarter than I am and wants me to set the type of food and the weight and let the oven decide how long to cook. You can also just press "2" and it will cook for 2 minutes instead of "2-0-0-start". Apparently they think that people are too lazy to push so many buttons. It also has a carousal which is fine for small items, but not for a rectangular glass baking dish. Fortunately, the glass insert from my old oven fits perfectly so I can use that when necessary. I'm glad it works, but it is not as easy to use as the old oven.

Material looks great. compact. Tried to fit it into our build in cabinet, didn't fit. but left it as countertop and didn't take much space
