This is a great product. Features are awsome and the movie experience is legit. The only reason why I put 4 stars is because it drains the battery quickly. Not really the product's fault.

I bought it for my husband. He loves it. We took it to a Christmas party and people are enjoying it. The only drawback that I heard from my husband is that it does not have a fan so it gets foggy sometimes (depending on the games he plays). He has a fan blowing on his face and it seems to fix the problem.

I was surprised out how amazing this device is within minutes of using it with my Galaxy S7 Edge. Watching videos in VR is an amazing experience. You feel like you are really in a location without actually being there. I was in a shark tank under water and watching sharks swim around me was really cool. That's an experience I would never actually do in real life but doing that gives me an idea how it would feel and it's pretty intense! Looking at photos is a fun experience too. You can visit far away places and turn your head in all angles and feel like you are visiting the place in person. It's unbelievable. My favorite experiences so far though were from my love of sports. I watched the NCAA March Madness Final Four in VR and it was awesome! You had a seat right in the front row of the court and I watched the game live just like I was sitting there in person. Really cool stuff! Also, I watched the Kentucky Derby in VR and that was awesome watching the horses parading right past me before they went into the gates for the race. The whole experience is just incredible. You feel like you are right there with everyone else watching in person. This technology is fantastic and for $100 you cannot beat the value if you already own a compatible Samsung phone. I'm giving one to my nephew for his birthday in a few weeks and I can't wait to see how much he loves it for gaming. A must buy!

I will admit right off the bat that I've been excited for Virtual Reality gadgets for years. While this is limited to only the latest Samsung Galaxy phones I found the experience to live up to the hype. Whether you're looking at 3D photos, videos or games there something for everyone. The games on this platform are worth their price and don't ask for a dollar every time you want to play. It's something fun to show to friends and family and a good time killer when you want to experience something very unique. This being a first generation product for consumers, there isn't as many apps as the apple App Store. However, about 90% of what's in there is worth giving a shot. I never get sick on the well designed apps and I find the controls on the headset very easy to use. If you are thinking about it and have a Samsung Galaxy phone (I use a Note 5) there is no reason not to get one!

I was very impressed with the Samsung Gear VR headset. The biggest factor in buying it was the price. Can't beat it. It functions well, but sometimes the lenses will fog up upon prolonged use. I am excited to see how well it works with the new Galaxy S7.

I am still learning how to use this product, but have had a lot of fun with it so far. My phone is getting hot really often but I'm going to Best Buy today to get their help. They have a really good support team, and I'm sure they will help me with it.

Simple to set up,easy to use and loads of fun. The 3D experience is as if you're at the theater watching a 3D movie,same with the games. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Crazy to think this is my phone I'm looking at. It's a definite must have

So i recently got the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and I got the Virtual Reality Headset with it. And for all of you debating on getting it I have 3 words for you...Virtual Reality Netflix. Yea...you heard me. No longer do you have to sit there with your phone and watch netflix on a tiny screen you can watch it on a virtually created 70"+ tv that actually shines light on the environment and enjoy. The headset is also comfortable and easily adjusted and has loads of content just to enjoy.

I love the Samsung Gear VR. It is a really cool device. MY only complaint is that it runs hot very quickly; however I use it sparingly so I do not run into that problem often.

The Samsung Gear VR was made specifically for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note 5. This turns he phone into a virtual reality headset, there is nothing on the market like it for the price. It is the ultimate party favor, everyone will want to try!

If you have a compatible Samsung phone you simply must get this to go with it. No matter what I say here or how many YouTube reviews you watch, it is impossible for you to truly understand how mind-blowing VR is until you try it for yourself.

When I was looking into upgrading and saw that this device was free with the upgrade, my husband said it was a great deal since he was more up on the VR technology. This thing is so amazing! You really do feel like you are 'in' the scene. We've watch dinosaurs that get so close to your face, you actually reach out to touch them while jumping and screaming with fear from being in a haunted room with creepy dolls. My husband uses it on his Galaxy S6 Edge and loves it. Your phone does overheat so 'play'time is limited. In the end - it's pretty cool.

Love love love. Everyone from kids to adults gets a kick out of these. I am using with galaxy s6 edge plus. I have watched movies, checked out games and videos and had a blast looking around at views from all over the world. Well worth the $$

I love the Gear VR! It's not a fully-baked VR experience and it has its share of issues, but when you get it working it's amazing. I can't give it five stars because at one point my Note 5 stopped detecting VR when I plugged it in, and I had to uninstall and reinstall about ten apps to get it working again. It also only works with some Samsung phones, so once I upgrade my phone to a new model it's not going to work any more. For that reason I feel like Samsung should subsidize more of the cost of the device. But when you get right down to the actual use of the Gear VR the experience is pretty amazing. I love the introductory 3D experience where a papercraft butterfly and dinosaur walk you through learning how to use the unit and the few controls it has. Standing on top of a skyscraper looking down at the streets below actually makes you feel a little dizzy even though it's a 3D generated world. History Channel has some interesting VR experiences - the one where you're a WWI soldier in the trenches is pretty eye-opening. And the Ocean experience where you feel like you're in a shark cage and watch a Great White swim around you is stellar. So it's almost worth a $100 cost of admission but then you'll be paying for most of the apps you want to use as well, so your mileage may vary. It has definitely raised my interest in buying a fully-baked VR set - maybe the second gen of the Oculus Rift when it becomes available and works out any bugs.

Very good product. Solidly built, somewhat easy to use. Make double sure you have the right Samsung smartphone to operate this headset. Amazing visuals to download for free, watch your own movies, 360 degree adventures to drop yourself into all over the world. It is just like you are actually there and can reach out and touch something. Nice feature to view out the phone camera in circumstances when you need to see what is outside the VR world. I do wish there was a way to include sound into the headset or ear plugs to get more into the virtual reality. The phone speaker is just not as good as it could be for this experience. Little more costlier than similar brand names. Discounts and Gift cards brought the price down for me. Well worth the investment and I can wait to find more interesting features and scenes to explore.

I read up and watched a lot of videos about this item but it's kinda like the Grand Canyon. You have to experience it yourself to know how awesome it is. Highly recommend this item.

A must have for any Galaxy S6 or Note 5 owner. Netflix is amazing in VR.

Works pretty well but with the phone in the headset it does make it a bit heavy to be watching a full movie with it on.

I have not yet mastered it since there is so many different games, videos, applications etc. It is alot of fun, great entertainment, since there are endless things to do with it. The fitting of it is kinda hurtful on the nose area, and it tends to slip off my head so it would be nice if there was a 3rd strap on the top. Quality on words in not always 100% clear regardless of how much you adjust it, and also, I noticed the lenses come too close to the eyes and tend to get a foggy which could get annoying sometimes. But other than that, I recommend this purchase, you're in for alot of fun !

The gear vr is one of the best accessories for a smart phone now days! Amazing vr fun filled activities makes it hard to put down! The extra $$$ is worth it compared to anything else out there and blasts the google cardboard vr
