This is a lot of fun. Many free videos and games to get started and some reasonably priced pay-for apps as well. It takes some getting used to and I can only wear it for short intervals before needing a break. It fits very snuggly and isn't always comfortable. The best tip is not to use the included cover for the len's while in use or it will overheat the phone quickly.

I thought the gear vr would not have enough substance for me to enjoy and surprisingly it didn't strain my eyes or give me a headache. An impressive step into VR that is relatively affordable and very enjoyable

This thing rocks! If you have a Samsung 6 it's a no brainier. Everybody who comes to our house wants to play with it. At this point it feels like a novelty. Content is sparse but it's still fun for new people.

This is a great first headset, can't wait to see where the technology goes next. Came free with my Samsung Galaxy S7, so hard to beat the price.

This was very easy to use and almost life like But for me it made ne dizzy and messed with my orientation

After 5 minutes on the gear vr, I am a total believer in VR! I will absolutely be upgrading my already stout PC (4.4ghz Haswell i7, 2x R9 290) si my wife can have mine, and we'll both be rocking Oculus VRs!

Works great too bad it only works with only a few SamsungAndroids still.Deffinitly the way all companies y Apple should go.can sit on a virtual couch in a virtual cabin as you select a movie to view the Grand Canyon.Had to return cell cause of Google lockout to bad service issues,but this product was perfect no issues easy to start up to work.Was dizzy like a long boat ride but ready for more.Too bad the cell was the issue or we would have loved to keep this for the family.

So long as you have the right phone, this is an affordable entry into early VR experience. I like it. Recommend you get a bluetooth controller.

We have had so much fun with the VR. It is very easy to use. My only complaint is that I can't wait for more experiences to become available on the phone.

This came free with the S7. WOW is all I can say!! It s the coolest thing that I have ever seen!! It is so much fun playing the games, but the best is doing a flight with the Blue Angles!! Just fantastic!!

Overall great value. The only issue I have is that my GS6 heats up regardless if I adjust the brightness setting, etc.

I received one of these as an add on to my Samsung Galaxy S7 when I pre-ordered. I'd previously used a Google Cardboard VR viewer and thought it was cool although using it for more than a few minutes at a time made me feel a little queasy. This Samsung Gear VR headset is much easier to use in regards to that - I can have it on for over an hour and I have no virtual motion discomfort. You really do feel immersed in whatever app or game you're using with the headset. You can watch your own videos, online videos, movies you can rent or buy, etc, all in a variety of "theaters". You can play many different kids of games, explore cities around the world through 360 degree photos and videos, and lots more. I love it!

First thing the product would receive 5 stars if compatible with other cell phones. I used product with Samsung 6. 360 degree graphics. Library is small but tons of free apps. Issue with phone overheating after about 30 minutes of use. Don't know if that was because my phone was old or not. Although I enjoyed using I Don't recommend buying.

I was totally blown away at the quality of the 3D effect. Unit is easy to use . There are an ample supply of games and other Apps to keep you entertained.

Been looking at this ground breaking technology for the past year...you can go from cardboard to very high end devices however at the price this is a great introduction to VR. Your not going to get 4K or even HD quality from the image but this is not the fault of the device but the smartphone screens ability to render at that resolution. Although its not bad altogether, you are a bit locked in to the Samsung Gear VR content somewhat. It is possible to go outside the Samsung Gear content and through some basic hacks can download and watch other providers content but it will take some effort on your part. As an example, I made some modification to the headset to allow me to connect it to my DJI Drone to use it for FPV but not easy and the quality is not as good as you would like. It is a great deal of fun watching everyone the first time they experience VR. I see a great future for VR technology, I don't think we have even scratched the surface yet but its coming soon.

I had been holding off for a while for this VR headset when the price drop happen, I couldn't past up the opportunity to purchase the headset. For the money it is a must accessories for your galaxy phone.

If you want to live in different dimension buy this product. The only downside I have is my phone overheats and it lags I have a Galaxy S6.

Comfortable, functional, easy to use. It worked great out of the box. The demo and small number of applications got me excited about new apps that could make me a regular user. Disappointed in the "mouse" on the side of the goggles. It needs to be more pronounced and tactile. The experience is great but it would have been better if a few 3D videos and YouTube were available. Netflix is fine but I'm not going to start watching movies except on an airplane. My Samsung 6S overheats quickly. Still, the purchase was a hit in my household.

I have been a fan of Oculus VR products since the first beta version of the rift several years ago. This VR headset is Awesome, no wires and no computer needed makes this very portable and easy to use.

These are more comfortable than the 2015 version. The gyro seems more stable as well. Immersive experience but pay attention to the comfort ratings. For someone who gets sick playing Super Mario, even I find lots of experiences I can enjoy. Something as simple as watching Terminator from the surface of the moon or playing one of the locked room mysteries. Some of the content is REALLY low quality and integration of Google Play movies would allow you to enjoy more of your own content. This is still pretty new technology though. You do have things like Hulu and Netflix theater which totally rock! The only issue I have is buying the previous version in February only to have them made obsolete by the USB C power port on the newer phone. Even an adapter did not work.
