There are a lot of VR options out there, and most of them are technically better. However, at the price point, you cannot get a better introduction to VR. It truly is amazing. On Oculus, after you make your account and select GearVR, there are many free games and apps to try. They all feel like demos, but well worth it. It's amazing how much you feel like you're in the given environment.

I picked up a Gear VR to see what the heck I was missing. Since I have a galaxy S6 this was a perfect VR headset for a beginner VR user. Since using it for a few months it's kinda fun to take out and play with, but since their isn't a lot of fun apps the experience is limited. But there are a few good apps that makes you say wow and samsung does try to fill the oculus store with new content weekly like watching the olympics in VR. Overall quality this is just a beginner VR it's not mind blowing but it's a cheap experience that you can have with your phone and gear VR. For true quality VR you'll want to spend like 2-3 thousand dollars and get yourself a computer that is VR capable and then pick up Oculus rift or HTC Vive then your mind will be blown and then you will never want to pick up any low cost VR

Fun step into VR for a low price. Tricky to use without overheating (I have Note 5). Sometimes an hour+, sometimes about 15 min. Samsung Milk VR has a lot of fun new things all the time & they add stuff frequently. For $99, why not?

I got the Samsung VR at first to watch Netflix while not bothering my wife when I can't sleep. I read a bunch of reviews and was totally convinced that it was Virtual Reality of the future. ( Que the movie " The Lawnmower man". The controls aren't very responsive and the image even with my Note 5 isn't very clear. After about 20 minutes of use my phone is very hot.

Was able to grab this as an open box special for $80. Tried out the demo in store and was pleased with the experience. I've really focused on watching the 360/VR horror movies with this device. Just looking for a neat experience that you can show your friends and watch them freak out? Completely worth it. I haven't played any games with it yet, but I plan on getting a controller and trying it out soon. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

This Samsung Vr head set is a great addition to any Newer Samsung Phone. It adds another dimension of fun to the the things you can already do with your phone.

My phone gets really hot while using the apps for this device but other than that it functions great!!!

This is my cousins VR and he uses it all the time,I've used it once and it's definitely an experience.

The Samsung VR goggles are an excellent 1st generation set of goggles. They work great for the price. A live sporting event broadcast would be awesome to see.

I got this for free, when I bought my Galaxy S7 Edge, which I love and recommend. These are available often for free when buying a cell, so I wouldn't pay for it. Lots of different things to look at after it's set up. If you've seen the ad's on tv , with people using it and looking up, then down, and all around, don't laugh, because you'll be doing the 'exact same thing' when you have it on , lol. 2 things I looked at, shortly after setup, was NASA training astronauts for space walking in an enormous pool. Your above water, as they set them up, then when they go underwater, you do too! Incredible, kid's will love it. The other was an animated rollercoaster in a underground mine/cave. Riding a mine cart, u go up,down, all around. *my stomach started going up and down, just like I was on a real rollercoaster, LOL, but I was just sitting still on the couch! Fun stuff that is available at home now, and will only get better and better as time goes on

This is really cool. The panoramic videos and photos included are awesome. On the downside, the VR works with Netflix, but not Hulu as advertised. Also, it would be really great if it worked with online video sites such as Vudu, Flixter, and CinemaNow. Also, only works with 2 Samsung phones.

If you own a Samsung phone that supports this then you must get the Gear VR accessory for it! It's a cool gadget that will keep you entertained for hours!

This is so much fun, Even if someone else has it on because of the way they react to what they are seeing. You really feel like you're in the action.

The Gear VR is awesomeand gives a grwat virtual reality experience!!! I am amazed by the overall experience and there are always new things to discover.

I love my Samsung Gear VR! I got 3! I can never get enough of experiencing more ways to explore.

I saw the commercials and really wanted to check it out. I bought it on sale and was not disappointed. You have to download the apps, but the free content is pretty incredible. They did advise that it eats up your battery and does get hot. Just be careful, but enjoy.

This is the atrack of the virtual reality and will only continue to get better and better, needs more apps but all in do time. Simply amazing. .....

No real complaints. It's really cool. Only thing is using it makes your phone get hot quickly.

Got this for free with my phone upgrade. Have used it several times. It's very nice, well made and looks great. Eats the battery of my phone, but I knew that going in. It's a great first step into the world of VR, and I can't wait to see how much better it is going to get.

I had to replace my phone after installing an update for it. It worked great and was so much fun until my phone went crazy. It's shares it battery and I kept getting an error message because of it. I have the S6 edge plus.
