This is my second gear vr, got the original on day one and have loved it since. It's almost better seeing other people try it out for the first time, seeing their amazement. Some people (including my fiancee) thought it was stupid until they tried it first hand, and now they think it's the coolest thing ever. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a compatible phone.

I purchased the Samsung vr because the reviews were good and wanted to try something out not to pricey so it was good value for vr very impressed

Lower resolution than I was expecting. Overheats often. I did not need to ware my reading glasses to use it. Needs better tutorial for the menu. Very inexpensive way to preview this technology. Good entry model.

I was sceptical before I tried the Samsung Gear VR. But after trying them in a Best Buy store I was hooked. Its really fun for the whole family.

Great product for the price. You put it on and its like your there. Some of the videos can make you dizzy like on the actual ride. I'm not a gamer but I'll bet some of the games would really be fun. You van plug in the side to keep your phone charged while using it.

I was skeptical at first since I downloaded videos and games on Google cardboard thinking it would be the same, but boy was I wrong. It was a lot better. This is made for the latest Samsung phones with all its power it has to offer. I download the lebran James I played the video and I felt like a hobbit two feet away next to him. It gave me chills. The circus videos were spectacular and mesmerizing. The games are much more interactive than the google cardboard and much more visually stunning. Im very happy with this purchase. Its a must get.

What a fun accessory for my phone. Easy to use and the virtual experience is a ton of fun.

At first I was not sold on the idea of VR, but shortly after getting the Gear VR. For $99.99 this was a no brainer. Fun for the whole family.

I really like this intro to VR. It just get a bit uncomfortable after wearing it awhile.

I got this VR goggles with the purchase of my samsung galaxy phone as a promo. I think it's a great quality gadget. The reason i'm giving it a 3 star is because it's a little tough to insert the phone into the goggles and the phones heats up quickly allowing only for 30 - 45 minute use before it shuts down.

I love this. Watching Netflix on this is great it's like you are in the movie theater in your own home.. The games on them are awesome also

This is a whole lot of fun! Easy to set up, easy to use. Took a boat ride with the Coadt Guard and have taken a african Safari.... intense.

I was pretty excited to get this with my new s7 edge, and tried it as soon as it arrived. It works pretty well, but I was disappointed that you need to buy a controller for most of the cooler games. Also, after using it for 10min I began to get motion sickness and had to stop. It also, not surprisingly, makes the phone heat up after several minutes of use. Probably not good for extended gaming time.

its pretty cool. very realistic, but i just wish there were more simulations to enjoy

This is a unbelievable product. It takes entertainment to a whole new level. This is a must have device if you have the compatible phone.

In a world where VR Sets range from Cardboard to $600+ for the home consumer, the Samsung VR Gear fits the budget and offers an incredible Oculus driven experience for an affordable price. Having a Samsung user in a family of iPhone customers helps make the purchase an easy choice as well. The interface is quick to master after a brief learning curve and hurdle of setup. The only drawback is that the VR Gear headset tends to get a bit humid in a warmer environment and needs some cleaning fairly frequently so as to clear the lenses of distracting moisture. Otherwise, the immersive experience is outstanding and early creative content is diverse. As to the hardware, I definetely recommend this 2nd gen devise and purchased it over the discounted 1st gen because of the recharging plug that allows for power connection even during use. Go get it if you haven't already!!

This is a BIG leap into virtual reality. Me and the kids cant get enough of the virtual world.

Nothing better when you got some time to kill. Easily addicting and fun for all ages.
