The item itself is very cool. It's easy to use, comfortable, and lightweight. It also attaches quickly to your phone. It takes a couple minutes to set-up, but as long as you have the apps already, you are good to go. One problem; phone gets hot in a matter of minutes, but I don't think that's the Gear VR's fault, I think it is the phone's fault, or the app that's running, or maybe all 3 working together. Overall....very fun.

This is amazing, we are hooked, some of the stuff is a bit scary for kids. Im hoping to see a lot more content though as some of the apps are small and more of a preview of what can come from this technology. The downside is overheating of the phone.

I'm a novice with VR and have played with this headset for a few hours. Pros: Really cool experience, smooth head tracking Cons: A little grainy, people have mixed reactions to focus quality, appears limited to Oculus store/app.

I received these VR goggles for free when I recently upgraded my phone. It is pretty cool to put them on and be transported to another world. The free content I received with them isn't that great. I thought I would get a $50 voucher to purchase what I wanted but it was a pre-selected group of games. A few of them require you to download manuals or the need for a controller to play. VR is still in the early stages so I know there will be some more bumps in the road and I eagerly await new apps/games to be released.

It's super easy to use and really makes you feel like you're a different place.

My twelve year old loves this product - It is so immersive that he had me pull over during a mystery game he was playing because there was a scary part of the game and he wanted me to get through that part for him.

I know this isn't an Oculus Rift, PSVR, or HTC Viiv, but wow! We are loving it. Totally worth the $99 to try out VR and I will be spending way too much time playing games myself, and letting others experience the next generation of computing.

Still has some quirks but a pretty fun toy; kids especially seem to like it

I received the Samsung Gear VR as a promotion when I purchased my Galaxy S7 at Best Buy. This was my first experience with virtual reality and I am impressed by how a phone and $100 set of VR goggles can provide such an amazing experience. The controls are on the sides of the VR goggles and can take some getting used to, but doesn't really distract from the enjoyment. VR has been making a splash in recent moths and the Samsung Gear VR may be the best value in the VR market right now with other options costing hundreds of dollars. I look forward to trying many of the numerous VR apps available on Google Play.

Samsung VR is fun and easy to use.....the only problem is that it's hard to slide the lever up to fit the shorter Samsung phone. Other than that, it's fun and creative!
