Bought this as a Christmas present and whole family loved it- young and old

for 100 bucks, the graphics are amazing! Worth buying over and over again.

I purchased these just for fun but was astonished with the application. I can lay on a beach in the Caribbean, go skiing, or just sit inside a beautiful home on the side of a mountain or on a beach. All from the living room of your own home. The quality of the scenes films and pictures were crystal clear. I am still learning what they have to offer. Highly recommended!

This vr thing is not perfected. The resolution for watching Netflix or hulu is not full HD, though it will show you movies as if you were in the theatre. Resolution looks like old 420, but neverthelessit looks very clear. I don't play games so I can't tell you about that. Its like having an 150inch TV in your face if you choose the view without a scenery or setting. Ifyoulike to watch a movie in bed without bothering get some one else, this is good. Also, you could charge your note 7 while watching with this VR. I watched two movies in a row and still had some battery left before I had to charge.

I use it every day almost. I have told my friends they should try it.

Really liked and enjoyed this item. Check to make sure your phone is compatiable and if it is buy you'll probably like this headset very entertaining and fun.

The vr system is pretty neat and very easy to use with the samsung s7 edge. Watching Netflix on this is a trip. Will continue to get better with upgrades too i assume.

This was one of the best gift ever my kids and I cannot believe that the Samsung VR puts you right into another dimension of virtual life like reality providing hours of safe fun with unbelievable graphics that blow your mind!

As an owner of an Oculus Rift DK1,DK2 CV as well as the new HTC Vive the GearVR rounded out the collection. There is a few good free apps out there but 90% of content for this item are PAID CONTENT. Before you get this be prepared to pay a minimum of $4-10 for marketplace apps so keep that in mind before getting this. Apps such as MilkVR allow you to watch videos and 360 videos but that's about all you can do with this. Really fun but be prepared to pay through the nose for apps.

I would say without a doubt, this is the third most enjoyment that I have had in My life. It is only preceded by Love Making and driving a race car. Each time I put the Gear VR on I learn more of what it can do. Unfortunately, sometimes when I put it on as I go to bed, I end up watching things until 4 a.m. I can't wait for the next improved model to be available.

I have used my Galaxy S7 within this device and have let my kids, niece and nephews play with it. Overall, the FREE content is acceptable... I really like the Netflix application. The only problem I have really experienced with this device is my phone gets really hot when using it, and then the device prompts me to remove my phone and let it cool down. This happens most frequently when streaming 3D SBS content, but I have seen it happen when streaming 2D and 360 content. Overall its an interesting experience and a GREAT way to watch Netflix if you aren't wanting outside distractions.
