I bought the Samsung VR as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law. They were not impressed and, I believe, returned the VR. I did not try it myself so my review is just a proxy.

if you think you going to get some serious VR experience think again, there is not much to do or see with these glasses. Few programs even the ones that cost are not that fun.

I got the Gear VR free when I bought my phone or I would never have bought it. It work good but I don't watch movies or play the games on my phone that would benefit me having it.

I got this and it was fun for the first week but it got boring after that. The App Store was not very big at all. Plus you can't type at all on it witch I think is a drawback.

You feel dizzy after a while, too much strain and also not too many things to do with it. only useful if you are sitting at home alone and have got nothing to kill time!

I am having fun with my Samsung Gear VR. I wish I can use other vendors for content beside Oculus. Also, I wish I could also transfer my VR content to my external SD card.

Good intro to VR. Doesn't work with the Google Cardboard apps because the home key is depressed when the phone is inserted.This limits the number of VR applications available.

Item is great for the first week or so. Then you start getting motion sickness because you use it to much. I would definitely limit the time spent playing with this item.

Received this as part of the deal package when purchasing my most recent cell phone. It's kind of cool but I wouldn't have purchased it separately as it's not necessary.

Not much to say other then I believe this to be a novelty item. I subsequently sold it to a friend and he likes it but I don't believe he use it very much anymore.

Couldn't use the product. The box showed that you could choose the type of USB for your phone but it only had the new type of USB..SO it didn't work on my Samsung S7.

This product has a short compatability list, read box before buying. Had to return it due to the compatability issues. Will try again, when I have a compatible phone.

The potential is there, and the hardware is sound. Was hoping for better video playback, and less chop. Interested to see what AR options are available down the road.

VR technology is the future but the tech at this price point is still in its infancy. VR is neat but the screen door effect is just too much for me to overcome.

Im an old dog...i can learn new tricks....but then i have to delete old ones...so for me ..the VR is just a little too complicated with out a sort course on how to.

Good quality product although using Samsung note 5 sucks. You can expect about 10 minutes of use before phone overheats.

Haven't used this device yet, but keep getting emails asking me to review this product. Initial impression is that it is pretty cool, especially since it was free.

The 3d experience of this product is fun. I don't like the disoriented feeling I get when I remove the goggles though. All in all it's something fun to try out.

Wanted to try be so when my upgrade came around I went with the S7 and the gear vr. Not sure how I feel about vr yet but very glad I was able to try it out.

I received this free when I purchased a new phone. It's alright, but I would not have bought it alone. Doesn't fit well around my face and cannot get clear enough.
