Then agian this isn't an oculus rift (despite being powered by oculus). But for smartphone vr, it's pretty awesome. Hoping more support for it.

It is a lot of fun, but when you start jumping around like my kids do the phone falls out. It is not the greatest or tightest connection.

We bought this for our son for christmas and he returned it. Said it wasn't worth the cost and really wasn't what they make it out to be.

Needs lot of improvement in the resolution. Feels uncomfortable

Awesome gadget but not recommended for people who don't like heights. I personally couldn't handle watching alot of motion made me dizzy

It's so much fun. My husband is getting it with his Phobe. The gear VR can get a little heavy after 30minutes, but I have a blast with it.

I watched a movie on Netflix and it was interesting and fun to watch. Not a gamer but definitely fun to watch anything on it.

You have to buy a lot of programs to really enjoy this product which was free with my phone. So they'll try and make their money back.

I was supposed to recieve an email from best buy with the credit i had for this item and i have yet to recieve that over the last 2 months!

Using your phone for VR makes it overheat and this could reduce the battery life. Also found that images were not clear when words were not directly in front of you in the headset. The VR interface to the Internet kept failing and this is a known problem and still no fix. I want to experience and use VR and decided to use a dedicated system, (PS4 VR).

It works good but then the phone battierey heats up and game turns off. So play time is limited.

Virtual reality is ultimately a gimmick you have to put this big headset on if you keep your phone in a case take it out slide your phone in and then the vast majority of the content you have to pay for. I seriously doubt that I will ever have the inclination to watch a 2-hour movie with this headset on my face for getting it for free and having five minutes of fun with it fine but I would never spend money on this product.

Still highly buggy and the phone it is being marketed for, the S7, only works about 1 in 10 tries and only then if you use your thumbs to put extra pressure on the connection. Bought the Samsung VR, the indicated Bluetooth controller best rated for it, and already had a Samsung Galaxy S7. After the first day, the VR will not recognize my phone being plugged into it unless I use my thumbs to apply pressure. This usually only even works after 45-90 minutes of going back and forth between pressing "Enter VR" in the Oculus app and it going straight to a black screen for 1-2 minutes, then back to the screen where I just pressed the Enter VR but now everything is sideways in the VR and no button on the controller allows you to simply click Enter VR. Clearly it's supposed to recognize when it's plugged into the VR, but it simply doesn't. Without it recognizing the phone it is being marketed for, it basically can't work properly. And this is the second day. If you buy this product, probably 50/50 the one you get won't work, even with the correct phone and controller, and you'll end up hoping you can exchange for a replacement (good luck) or a refund. Why waste your time? In a year they'll probably have a version not so buggy.

Enjoyed in the beginning, but some how later on it gave me headache. The graphics are not that great too. They can make this even smaller

It took a long time to figure out how to use the advice and to set it up. But it is definitely worthwhile and fun to have and use.

Actual hardware was great. Light and sturdy. However, VR technology/software still lacks behind... the issue of my s7 edge overheating and shutting down, complication of viewing or playing downloaded videos and games were my biggest issues. In the end I returned my vr gear. Hopefully the technology supporting the VR platform will vastly improve in near future. Then I will reconsider repurchasingredients another VR gear.

Don't no why I bought this it was a waist if money I used it maybe twice not sure I was using it right either

This is a cool item but quickly becomes old. It irritates your face after using it for a while. I do like the movie feature though!

Once you get it set up its pretty neat. A little cumbersome. If you have a protective case on your phone it must be removed to fit.
