The setup for this vr is a pain in the neck! I thought that using this item would be a clearer picture, but only to an extent. I also purchased ear phones for this because using just your cell phone for sound wasn't that good (another 100 dollars).

cutting the resolution of a cell phone display in half, then half again gives you an extremely low resolution experience, and the focal point left me cross-eyed after using for any length of time.

I got the Gear VR as an add on when I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S7. Not really sure of what to do with this since I really don't use my phone for any of the functions of this device. I definitely would not have paid money to get one of these.

I really wanted a more expensive vr headset. However I decided to start with this. There were some fun apps to mess around with. The problem I had is that it made me feel a little queasy. Also the picture was never very clear.

It does not work with the Samsung S7 ACTIVE models so be certain when you purchase it that you have the correct phone. It was offered as part of a deal for purchasing a Samsung S7 through Best Buy regardless if it was compatible.

I'm shocked at how so many are unaware of the gear vr, it's an incredible piece of technology! Watch movies and videos on a HUGE movie screen with Oculus 360 video, play classic arcade stand up games with Oculus arcade, explore the worlds oceans, communicate with other users, travel to far lands, immerse yourself into any environment or situation you want! Anytime you wish to escape the real world, it's only a vr app away! So much fun, such an amazing device! Thanks Samsung and Oculus for making such a magnificent vr system that's affordable to the masses.

I have only used it for a short time but what I have seen is not compelling me to use it more. Video and other production quality is very poor. There are probably some better apps than what I have seen but I am disappointed.

I think the concept of this device is amazing, but even with the screen on my note 5, the screen door effect was awful and I couldn't get immersed. I cant wait for the day when we can effectively make pixels much smaller in screens

I bought a new phone and this unit came with it. Overall, it feels cheap and flimsy. The instructions to set up are vague and confusing. Visually it is blurry, even adjusting the lenses. The software is meh......

We tried this out and maybe need to try some more. Our initial reaction is that the quality is less than advertised. for one, the images are not super clear. Also, the content selection seems to be limited.

This was a hit and miss for me. didn't work will with some apps. separately finding controller for them is hard unless you get the Bluetooth game controller and that doesn't always work with most games.

OK Not the item I came to purchase.Was told no difference between items.Disappointed in attitude of salesperson.As if I wasn't that sure what I wanted.I am over 50.Was told the other was unavailable.

I had bought this hoping to be able to lay in bed and play without disturbing my husband. Its clunky, uncomfortable, and you have to sit at an awkward angle to use. I plan on returning it asap.

It was a bit difficult just getting it to work with my Galaxy 6 phone. I had to go to Best Buy and have the Samsung rep help me. I haven't used it too much yet so the jury's still out for me.

It did not feel comfortable on my head and I had trouble getting it to work. Once it worked I was not very impressed. Maybe they will make them better in the future, but the price was good.

Bought this thinking I could use with other apps on my phone but it's set up to make you buy their apps. The product is ok but doesn't come with anything. Needless to say, I returned it.

The unit functions ok but what made me angry is a month after I got it they came out with a new model and this model is not compatible with the Note 7 or any of the new Samsung phones.

My phone just got very hot, and I became nauseus. I would recommend letting this one pass on by. I ended up giving mime away.

I bought these months ago and they sit on my dresser. They make very few "games" for them and those that are out there you havevto buy. Waste of money in my opinion.

The reason l gave such a poor review is that it takes away from family. It isolates you from everyone. If you're a loner then it's great for you. It wasn't for me.
