I received the Gear VR for free when I purchased the S7 Edge. I was impressed by the image quality and responsiveness of VR driven by a phone. The headset is comfortable, but it can fog quite easily and I wish the phone insertion was a bit more padded. You can wear it with glasses, but I did notice that the two sets of lenses could contact each other when putting in on or taking it off. Most people's glasses won't be affected, but the VR lenses do seem a bit delicate. Still, a great way to get into VR and have fun without dropping an arm and a leg. I would suggest a case for the headset as well as a microfiber cloth and canned air for cleaning, dust or hair will be very apparent when viewing media or playing games Many games require a controller, but those are easy to obtain and can be used your other phones and tablets, too.

Great vr system. Easy to use and compatible with a wide variety of Samsung smartphones.

So much fun and easy to use. Only complaint is it causes my phone to overheat sometimes

Bought this along with the Samsung S7 Edge. These are so much fun. At Christmas with the family it was great fun to have all of the relatives try one of the videos and watch their reaction. There is intense stuff as well as very tame so something for everyone. Product is easy to use and adjust to different size heads and if needed, you can still wear your glasses, which is a plus.

I was nervous to purchase this VR but I'm glad I did. It's not the Oculus rift but it's an awesome mobile VR system. Graphics are good being in the shows are great. Watching movies is awesome and price is worth it. It can only get better.

My issues aren't really with the VR Gear, but my Samsung GS6. It overheats in the VR Gear after less than 15 minutes. When it is hot, motion is choppy and nauseating. However, before that, it is an amazing immersive experience. I have traveled around the world. Watched Netflix movies in a house I can't afford. It is a great for showing the capabilities of the technology, but not one I use everyday. The VR Gear is a much more comfortable experience than my Cardboard (whose lenses keep shifting). I can get by with just the straps and don't have to hold it to my head. It has adjustable focus and a touchpad to help with navigation. Battery consumption is impressive. It will suck 20% out of my battery in a short session.

A must buy for anyone with a compatible phone, the future is now!

I was really skeptical about this product, but I can honestly say that it is one of the coolest things I have bought in a long time.

This virtual reality device is great! It's a little scary at first but this is by far the best experience I've had with a phone thus far. My parents really enjoyed it and I loved listening to my mom yell "nope! I'm taking this off, this is too real"

Maybe the best invention since the television. This will BLOW YOU AWAY! Try it in a swivel chair so you can spin around. UNREAL.

Had no clue what to expect when received headset. It was more then thought. It put you into virtual reality thinkin you were in the actual room. Watching movies seemed like you were in the theater. Control pad was one thing that HD problem with.

I just purchased the vr headset today and i must say I'm impressed. Great buy for $79.00. A must buy for people with compatible smartphones. Much more than what I expected. I also purchased the steel series stratus xl bluetooth headphones. I must say its very entertaining. VR isn't bad at all. Its actually pretty cool.

I received this viewer for free with the purchase of my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone and was pleased with how well this worked to provide that immersive experience. I definitely recommend this for anyone with a compatible device!

This is a nice start into VR. There are some really cool things that this can do. You could pay more, but for now this is good enough. Don't drop $600-$800 for the Rift or the Vive until they go wireless. They will in the next version. This is fun to play with, NOT something you are going to use all the time.

Samsung took the already great, leader-in-its-class Gear VR and made it even better. It's easier to use, feels more comfortable and is just a futuristic pleasure all around. Everyone with a compatible device should try this.

It was a great Christmas gift my parents got me. The quality was great, you can travel the world without leaving.

The gear VR is really fun to use and awesome picture quality! I wish it were compatible with the iPhone but my husband and I can share with his samsung phone. Tons of apps are free to use including traveling and animals in VR.

This isn't the best VR option on the market today, but it is by far the one that is most accessible to the most people. Seeing virtual environments is great and it is easy to lose yourself in some of the virtual experiences

I love having the gear VR. It really does make you feel like you are in a movie theater. The only thing that I don't love is you need a controller for a lot of the game and it doesn't say that when you first get it.
