The goggles were amazing. Easy to use, made me feel like I was in what I was watching. Only reason I give it 4 stars is that after a few uses, I'd start to get a headache when I used them (ended up returning), but I don't know if that was due to wearing glasses with it (I have progressive bifocals) . They fit fine over the glasses, and even with my glasses off the goggle's focus was able to to be adjusted enough to be clear. I may try them again after I go to the eye doctor.

My daughter and son absolutely love this item! Even my mom has played it with them and thinks it's awesome herself. The only thing I recommend is to know it is apparently very virtual reality and can make you feel sea sick and certain games things pop out as well so if you don't like the ultimate realistic then I wouldn't go for this. My kids and mom both say 5 stars so that's what I gave. I personally have certain illnesses that prevent me from trying this item and I'm not into V.R anyway but I do know it was worth the money. We even just upgraded to the newest one with remote that's how much they have enjoyed this!

Love the VR! Bought it for my husband for Christmas and he uses it often. My kids also love it because it has games movies and some really interesting and beautiful graphics .

Great VR headset, with compatibility for latest Samsung phones. Just have to correct the phone overheating, but other than that, awesome device for watching and playing in VR.

Got a set of these included with my new phone purchase otherwise I would not have got them. If you want to completely shut everyone around you out these are great

This is my very 1st VR headset and it was easy to set up. The experience is unbelievable. This is a great product and very affordable for a Christmas gift. I love this item.

got this item for free for updating my cell phone, set up was easy and took about an hour with all the updates, navigation through the menus is easy and logical. Only down side is be ready to pay for the good/fun stuff... so far I've only found about 3 or 4 free games/apps that I enjoy, the best part is watching other people as they play, my daughter actually was screaming and ducking and dodging and even fell off the couch (no injuries other than embarrassment - lol)

Hate to say it folks, if I had bought this... I would have returned it. The capability is great but... 1) your phone will suck the battery dry with no way to plug it in while in the device so you get an hour or two max when using this. 2) plugging it into the VR Gear most of the time doesn't work. It take me at least 15 times of trying to seat it properly to get it to actually start to project the VR screen correctly. 3) You have to sit or stand. YOU CAN NOT LAY DOWN. If you are looking at the ceiling and want to reset its reference point, the room is oriented toward your chin and you can't see it. In my case, I wanted to lay down and watch a movie looking straight up. Nope... can't do that although that makes like perfect sense if you have a headset on and will be watching a movie. 3) Many of the stream videos are pixilated and grainy even with good wireless connectivity. Best option is to download the movie but you have the thing on your head so you don't really want to wait an hour to download 5 gig's to watch a movie and streaming leaves you with not so nice video. Now... Yes it does pretty well once you get it seated correctly and don't mind sitting there for hours while everyone heckles you... I use it in the bedroom where its dark (lights off) and quiet. Works for what I paid for it but version 2 through 20 should be much better over the next few years.

The Samsung Gear VR is a great product to use with your cell phone. It worked so well with my samsung galaxy note 7, it was hard to put down once I tried it. Great product!!

I really didn't think I'd find a use for this since I'm a busy college student that doesn't have time for gaming, but I was really fascinated & blown away by the amazing graphics. I can't give it up now that I found out I can watch Netflix with it! All my friends & family are in love with it. The only reason I deducted a star is because the nose pad can get a little uncomfortable after a while, but that's only if you're watching 3 hours worth of netflix each time you put it on.

There are so many different things to do with this product that I do not know where to begin. It reminds me of the old viewfinder from long ago just updated. Wonderful product.

Neat concept and cool idea, but it does burn your battery SO MUCH! The phone also gets quite warm with extended use.

I was never one of the people dying for vr,but I got this during a promotion, and now I'm hooked! So many really cool things to do in virtual reality, games are the tip of the iceberg. I watched the US Open golf, and it was like having a seat on the edge of the green. You can watch movies in a virtual theatre instead of your tiny TV (and it doesn't really matter how big it is, it's small next to a theatre screen). It's impossible to describe VR to someone who's never tried it, so go to the store and try it! You'll love it. My wife teased me when I got this, but I let her try it and I had to wrestle it away from her.

THis is a cool toy but needs it's own display device as using your phone can damage the phone through overheating it. cool apps although they are also dated

What a cool device! Such a great idea to team up with Oculus to deliver a more accessible VR experience for anyone with a newer Galaxy phone. The graphics are surprisingly good for mobile VR and I'd say the viewing angle beats out some of the more fully powered headsets for a more immersive experience. The headset is comfortable to wear (although it will mess up your hair) and the touchpad is responsive, albeit somewhat awkward. Looking forward to the integration of the Gear S2/3 as a control device. The only think that I would improve is the app ecosystem, although that is also expanding nearly every day.

Amazing VR experience given its price. There is actually a feeling of immersion and all that coming out of a phone is pretty amazing. you need to try it to believe it.

Bought this for my husband who likes to stay up late and watch movies. He loves it and can watch and listen to movies in bed, on his phone, without bothering me. Great buy.

Me and my daughter love using this. We enjoy being able to take pictures of events and use the gear to be able to relive them over and over again.
