The initial eye strain, weight of the apparatus on your head, and control button locations n feel take some getting used to. But once yo do, it's so much fun! Everyone in the family, from nieces and nephew to my parents, enjoys it. There's an app for everyone. I suggest playing any game where you are moving (like roller coaster) while riding a car to have a full immersive simulated experience! I'm looking forward to future improved versions of this.

We still all figuring out other things we can do with this but so far it's fun entertainment.

The product works perfectly and I've been having lots of fun. A great experience for a reasonably fair price.

Thing is awesome. I have passed many hours playing with this and the games that come with it. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it drains your battery very quickly and when you're playing time flies. It does have a plug that you can charge while using but it is a 360 View so when you are spinning around the cord gets angled up.

You feel like you are really somewhere else. This is a great idea. You can use it with anything on your phone.

VIrtual reality is finally here. This headset works great and is so immersive that you feel like being there. Works great with 360 photos, videos, and games. I recommend this VR headset to anyone.

This came free with my phone and before I got handed this with my phone I didn't really know these existed lol. I really like using these especially to watch movies. The pictures are cool to look at that are on the app. It's like you're really standing there. I probably wouldn't have just bought them but I'm glad they came with my phone!

When you want to be in a world more virtual than the one you live in. Awesome device that is driven by your Swing phone. S6 and newer. Hours of fun and great to take to bbq's or gatherings.

It's my first VR experience and I am very impressed. I would definitely recommend to any one interested in trying VR but not ready to invest in the higher end units that require expensive PCs.

Part of my reason to upgrade my phone was to get the Gear for free. My family and I have enjoyed it ever since. The immersion is incredible on many of the apps and photos/videos. I would say you do have to have a solid grasp on how technology works to really enjoy it as you have to navigate screens and menus with minimal available input. The touchpad on the side of it can be tough for those not used to it or with little experience with tech as a whole.

You can virtually go every corner of this planet with this awesome glasses. I got a little dizzie but it has a very good pixel quality. Love it

3d virtual reality is really fun and needs more content

To enjoy the Gear VR a Bluetooth controller is a must. After playing a few controller required games I was sold on VR. I cant want to so the full Oculus Rift, this will hold me over until then.

Works well with the phone, and tons of apps for a variety of interests. Want to get a handheld device to use with it.

I was skeptical about vr headsets so I went into my local best buy to try it out. Unfortunately someone had broken the demo unit, so I just went out on a limb and purchased it and WOW! The technology alone is enough to go out and spend $100 for the set. The Samsung vr doesn't have the best video output but is still great for what it does... Because of the vr I will make sure to get the Rift when it finally releases... great job Samsung and oculous

I had no expectations for the Gear VR, especially since I'm not a gamer, but I'm pleasantly surprised & extremely happy with it as it has so much more to offer than just gaming. Once I added Netflix it opened up a whole new different way of watching my favorite shows. With Next VR you can watch certain sporting events too! I can't wait for more NBA games and MLB to become a part of the virtual reality experience. My Gear VR is so cool, I love it!

I wasn't expecting VR stuff to be as fun as it was, not with the memories of the old and busted VR headsets we were inflicted with in days gone by. Samsung and Oculus have done a great job improving on those concepts and taking them forward into a world of always connected. There's something special about watching a movie on the moon, Earth hanging over the screen. Or traversing the depths of the oceans. Content aside, this headset is awesome.

I haven't done much with it. This is more for my teenage son. He showed me cool features of it but I still have to play with it.

I received this headset and it was good quality. I wear glasses and the set fit great while I wore glasses to use it. I also was able to use them without glasses and adjust the focus with the dial on top. It takes some getting used to, to locate the touch feature on the side of the set. I was pleased by how comfortable they were considering the size of them. I am one of the people however who could not wear them more than 30 minutes at a time before I felt like I needed a break from wearing them. They do exactly what they are supposed to do and for that they get 5 stars but I gave it four, for my personal experience with them. I eventually had to take them back because I did find myself thinking I would use them less and less until it was wasted money lying around. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try it but maybe try before you buy if a person you know has them so you can see if you can wear them long term. I did have some trouble using the slide on the set to adjust from a S7 to an S7 Edge, I think this too would become easier once you would get the feel for doing it if you were a frequent user.

Not too big of a deal bUT app store could use more variety
