Received this as a bonus for purchasing the Galaxy S7. It works really well and even came with a few videos that you could download for free. However, it will likely drain the phone battery and for me is little more than a novelty. When my son tried it he said it felt like he still had it on after he took it off. Kind of like when you are on a boat that is constantly rocking and when you get on shore you feel like you are still on the boat.

I am in love with these goggles. They are so realistic, Samsung really outdid themselves with these. Everyone in the family love using them I can hardly get my phone back. Great product!!!

Having utilized this mostly for movies and tv shows, I'm not that up on the gaming aspect, but it is an excellent media viewer.

The Gear VR came with the purchase of the phone but my girls love watching TV with it. It's something exciting for them to do.

I got this after seeing one that a friend had at Christmas. The 360 pictures have kept me busy for weeks. Milk vr is a must have for watching some cool videos. Also a chair that swivels.

VR...no matter if it's playing a game or watching a show, VR is a whole new experience. Now this head set won't give you the full blown experience of it's computer based bigger brother, but it is still a well thought out piece of gear. I look forward to continuing to dabble ion the world of VR. This is an excellent start.

While the technology is very, very cool and the experience is very immersive I was getting nauseous when using the headset for more than 10 mins. No one else in my family experienced this so its likely just my old eyes/brain. Too bad for me but great for them.

The VR is way cool. Easy to use just a lil difficult to take the phone back out, but that is ok, too.

The product was as described. No problems. Tried it out when I got a new phone necessary to make it work. had fun exploring visuals, but have not had time to get well into it as of yet.

The gear is pretty fun, it doeant have a huge marketplace yet but im sure it will be expanding soon. Had a great day with ot at the office, co-workers were lining up to play with it.

I got it as a package with the purchase of my phone. That being said I like it. It takes a while to get used to but it immerses you in whatever you are viewing. I like that you can download apps for it straight from the phone. My only complaint is that it is uncomfortable on my forehead and that light sneaks in around my nose.

This item is cool but not really necessary, more for gamers or kids, but it was free with my edge purchase so love it, lol

Great VR headset for new comers. Had a little bit of a struggle with the original top strap, however for the price, great .

These are pretty cool and entertaining. I love watching Netflix movies on this. I am looking forward to more apps. I gave four stars because my phone quickly heats while playing games (Gear VR tells you and makes you stop using it) and you can't respond to text messages or answer phone calls. You can read texts though.

If you own a Samsung phone, these are absolutely worth getting. They give you a whole new experience that (aside from dropping over $1000 on a Vive or Rift) you can't find anywhere else. Granted, they aren't perfect (don't track when you walk, no motion controllers) but it's still a great value for what you get. The look on people's faces when they put them on for the first time is priceless, and the possibilities are endless.

After a demo in a store, I thought this would be a good purchase, but ultimately the resolution just isn't good enough on smart phones to stare at them 2 inches from your eyeballs for more than a a few minutes. My Galaxy S7 just didn't cut it, and though I tried it several times over a couple of days, exploring menus and demos, ultimately the final half hour session just showed that it wasn't for me. Part of it is that I'm a reader, and any text was fuzzy. Good idea, premature execution. A second significant issue is getting the phone in and out of the case. I don't have confidence that if I received a call while using it in the headset that I could get it out in time to answer- that's how awkward it is. It took a significant amount of time just to be sure I could get it in and out of the case without breaking something. Ease of use definitely needs work.

Bought after Christmas for my Note 5. Really like the selection of stuff for it. Lots of fun things. VR is here to stay.

video resolution is kind of low,but playing some of the games look great.the field of view is not as good as the oculus.
