I got this free when I purchased my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge thinking it would be a nice toy for the kids but I'm hooked! Love the Streetview VR the best. I let my dad borrow it and he was excited as he's in his 70's and never thought he'd "travel" to some of the locations. Even though they are still pictures he really enjoyed the experience. Didn't notice too bad of a drain on the battery when in use.

Got this for my hubby Valentine's Day gift and gel loves it !! Love how you can get wrapped up in the movies ! Only downside is you have to pay for most of the apps

After seeing the oculus rift and htc vive will cost north of $500, i pulled the trigger and have no regret.

The Gear VR is by far and away the best VR I have tried that is not either the full Oculus set up or the HTC Vive. Not only that, it uses the power of the phone I already own to give me VR anywhere. Combine with a good pair of headphones and you are set for a great and affordable VR experience.

One of the best gifts I have ever bought. The Samsung vr gear is the coolest thing ever. My son loved it and it ends up that me and my husband also want a pair now.

I got this with my Samsung S7 as a promotional offer and thought it would be cool. I was wrong, it's phenomenal! From all the different games to just watching Netflix on the largest screen ever, this VR is simply amazing. So much to offer for only $100 retail price. You won't be disappointed. You do have to own either the Galaxy S6, or S7 to use it though. Both are great phones though! Win...win

The VR experience is wonderful. When you turn you head you can see in six directions. It's almost like being there. The resolution on this particular headset however is not so good. I guess they want you to buy the more expensive version.

Vr is really something cool to experience if you haven't already, easy to use.

This is a fun device to just have to play with and show off to your friends. The free content is slowly getting better and better. Yet there is still a long way to go till there is enough content to make this an every day item. Only buy it if you plan on it being a fun toy you keep on a shelf.

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He loves this thing. He plays games on it. And even watches Netflix with it. More emersive than watching something in 3D.

I am very pleased with the device. It just needs more applications. Not finding very many interesting.

I've been interested in VR for quite a while. I tried VR for the first time at a futurists convention in NYC in the early nineties. The VR device was bulky, was tethered with heavy cables to it's CPU, and the experience, while incredible at the time, was nothing compared to the experience with the GearVR/S7. Incredibly responsive, terrific graphic quality, and a heck of a lot of fun!

Kids love it as well as most adults. Some apps work better than others, really need a controller to go with it.
