This device is crazy. The only thing that would make it better is some kind of peripheral you can attach to your hands to interact with the virtual world.

The Gear VR is good if you have the compatible samsung phones and would like to feel the virtual reality world. Compared to other high end but more expensive options, this can be an acceptable option. However, you do see pixels which can get uncomfortable if wearing long time.

When you first put this on you are going to be amazed. I showed it at our Christmas family get together and everyone was saying I have to get one of these.

Came bundled with my s7. Definitely the most comfortable and easy to use VR system that I've used. Compared to most Google cardboard products, this blows them out of the water especially with regards to comfort. The only downside is that you need a specific Samsung device. Great device

Ever felt like your dream was real? Well, this device makes it real! Everytime I use it I feel like I'm on vacation away from home doing things I only every imagined. If you want freedom, you want the Gear VR!

Got it free with the S7 edge, only used it for a couple of applications, it's a wierd and different experience to use it. You should definitely try it, younger folks will probably use it a lot, I don't see a ton of use in it for me till more apps are developed bbut the tech is cool.

Pleased with it, work well with my s7. To enjoy properly need a controller, pressing button on unit can be annnoying. Have not put it to regular use yet. Best buy price match worked well after ordering i spotted big discount Amazon and best buy matched with no problem.

Got this awhile back and just now reviewing, but I'm glad I bought the Gear VR. You can't beat the content inside once you put it on, screenshots don't do it justice. So cool watching 3d movies just like one is at the theater. If you're interested and intrigued about VR and its possibilities and don't want to spend a fortune, purchase this device. You won't be disappointed.

I received this a part of a bundle. It makes a great gift for anyone how has a galaxy phone. Beware that only select games are free. Some games also require the purchase of a remote. I wouldn't recommend playing for long periods of time. Also your phone will run hot while using this.

I love tech but I haven't been overly excited over it of late. VR is one of those things that is hard to describe. No matter how many reviews of it I read, I just couldn't grasp what the reviewers were trying to tell me. I fear I will be no better but I will give it a good shot for those on the fence about it. I see so much potential for this. Right now games have the most attention but as the tech matures it can be used for a lot of things. I took a tour of some really fancy house. I could move through every room, check out the ceiling, the floors, just like I was there and my thought was, this would be so cool for real estate. Imagine shopping for your next house and not having to leave the house unless you found one you really liked. This could be a time saver in real estate. Get more houses shown, save realtors on gas money you name it lol.

I enjoy watching movies. You feel like your in a 3D theater.

Pretty good gear made by Samsung, really liked the item and all the features that it has. Note 5 and S6 Edge+ need to be updated by carrier before use.

Finally virtual reality games, movies, and lotsa other stuff! For the price this is a great starter. I love it. The pictures are clear and the head gear is comfortable. The drawbacks are that it drains your phone battery quickly. The vr controller is on the right side and you have to blindly feel around to get to it. Oh and the phone heats up too so watch out for that.

it is definitely a nice toy with tons of possibility, but the use tend to overheat the phone and anyhow the selection is relatively limited for now. I would rather have also the possibility to use it also for augmented reality but for now I don't see anything of that sort.

The virtual reality so fun!!! Easy to use and fun for the whole family

Vr works great and I can’t believe I didn’t invent this, it’s an amazing product, only thing is I was missing the usb c adapter for it and that kinda sucks, I bought it like open box but didn’t expect pieces to be missing other than that it’s a great product.

This product is amazing! We had purchased something similar for my 9 year old son at another store but it wasn't really what we were looking for. We came across the VR while Christmas shopping at Best Buy and was very impressed with the variety of apps available and how easy it was to use...and for only $100! I can't wait to see how they improve on this product!

I don't really use them that much and I missed the promotion from Samsung to get these free with the purchase of my S7 Edge. After I shell out $100 for these Samsung goes and starts offering them again, LoL. Other than that they do give you the feeling of virtual reality.

Can't wait to test the full oculus. This is a great starter into the virtual reality tech. It only works with the phone and oculus software. The demos and free content are entertaining. The gear is definitely a converstation starter. It's comfortable but can get a little foggy.
