I am new to using the VR gear but it was simple to use and amazing 360 views. Some games have lower quality video that gives the impression it's not as good as it is. Weird at first to use buttons on side and would be a lot better with wireless remote. I still enjoy it very much and look forward to experiencing new games and uses.

Fabulous way to watch movies, almost like you are there

Saw the commercials but never tested or used the actual VR. Once i did i was sold. Its so much fun and it keeps people active. Also help keep the kids quiet and the adults entertained. Also increases interaction amoung people. Great product and im happy my phone is compatible. Seems like Samsung has one up on Apple!!

So I got this thanks to getting an S7. It's a great into to VR for anyone and if you have a compatible device this is a must buy. It's very impressive what can be done with this level of tech and a phone. It almost makes a brand new S7 worth the high price.

Overall, I have to say that gear VR is worth it. The only thing that could make it a little better was if it was a little more clear. Even after adjusting it as much as possible, a lot of things you watch are pixelated or a little blurry.

I received this VR Gear as a bonus for purchasing an S7 smartphone. It's been interesting to play with. Wish it came with a hand held controller, not very practical to have your hand on your head the whole time you're using the device.

Liked it, but the software or app takes up a lot of space. Had to delete.

Overall, the product is interesting. It's a little bulky and fits kind of weird. It's also difficult to get the focus correct, but operation is simple once you try it out for a few minutes. Not something I would've probably purchased by itself, it came free when I preordered the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

I purchased the Samsung gear VR to use with my Samsung Galaxy 6 active. If you have a galaxy 6 active (which we do) you CANNOT fit it securely in the device, which we were told you could. Thankfully, I had a note 5 as a backup phone to my iPhone. The note 5 does work fine. The App Store seems pretty sparse, which is probably due to the newness of the product. Overall, If I had the choice to do it again.. I would wait for the one that works with the gaming systems and/or computers as well. The lack of apps made this a two day passing fun.

I was surprised by the amount of content available to watch. The only down side is that my Samsung 7e overheats with about 25 minutes of use. Then it takes about 15 minutes to cool down. So it wouldn't work to watch a feature movie.

If you haven't tried VR yet, you definitely should. And Gear VR is probably the easiest/best set up you can get right now.

It took me a while to get the hang of using the VR headset. This is a great item to have especially when watching movies.

This device is loads of fun for everyone. Great graphics! The buttons took a liittle getting use to. I wish the clasp to hold my phone in were a little better (safer) and that my sister had a comparable & compatible version for her iPhone.

Tested this out at the store and thought it was awesome. Got it home and of course you have to pay for the games. I tried temple run for free and it made me sick and dizzy. The Netflix option is neat, but loses his luster fast. This is a neat concept but I honestly have not used it since I bought it

I can see this headset taking over the gaming market in the near future.

I received the Gear VR as a free gift for my new phone, and I've been impressed so far. There's a lot a different games to occupy your time, and just the experience of VR itself is enough to take a chance on the product. I find myself reaching out every now and then, even though I know it's not real. Good fun in down time.

I would of gave it 5 stars, but the only annoying issue is that the vr charging port is fitted for the Samsung note. So if you have a Galaxy 6 or 7 there is a small charging adapter that comes with the vr to make the adapter universal. So you definitely need to hold on to that small adapter to keep charging through the Vr. If you lose the adapter you may find yourself in Best buy buying a new one. So hold on to that adapter or Samsung needs to make the note charging port rhe same as every other Samsung phone that they have. Other than that the Samsung Vr is loads of fun and definitely great future tech the 360 view is amazing.

It was a quick set up and instant FUN for the whole family. It is very impressive to see the quality of the photos. You have to sit down because it looks so real you feel as if you are in the place or game or whatever it is you are watching. Breathtaking ! Fun ! Exhilarating! Great picture quality and sound effects.

This is a nice VR headset to have or use in being introduced to the world of VR. Although the graphics aren't top notch, the headset is still enjoyable. A remote controller is necessary to get a more full immersive experience.
