This product Rocks! I was really surprised with the quality of the product. It is put together really well and the virtual reality level if detail is top notch. Very outstanding. A must buy for anyone who likes to have the technology of tomorrow, today.

I had the gear vr the original for the note 4. This one for the Note 5 is a little better. However they seem to have removed more of the free content compared to the original gear vr. Other than that its a good start as far as vr goes.

I got this free with a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 purchase, and it is very cool. You can watch netflix, browse the Web, among watching live events broadcast in VR. I'm not sure if I would buy it as a standalone, but I love this little unit with my phone.

I like the experience of VR. It's a good first step. The product is easy to set up and use. It has enough head support for anyone. I watched my friends and family play - they scream, jump, and beg for 'it' to stop. Fun stuff! My problem with VR has nothing to do with this headset. VR tech is just a phase right now - it's fun for a little while and then gets boring. I'm waiting for when I can walk around and touch stuff with my hands! In the meantime if you want a small easy to use VR headset - this is a good buy.

There is little to complain about. This is a very economical way to experience vr and blow minds of anyone who hasn't experienced it yet. My complaint would be for it to come with its own Long power cord to allow for longer sessions.

the googles allow for very good interaction through the oculus program they have several interactive or 360 photos and a number of beta versions of interactive games and movies

I cannot stress how awesome the Samsung VR is! At around 100 bucks you have endless entertainment that puts you in an environment like nothing you've ever experienced. Everything from streaming Netflix in your personalized movie theater to visiting other countries in 360 degree breathtaking views the Samsung VR

The Samsung goggles are easy to operate, packable in carryon luggage and comfortable on the head. They even come with a cotton carry bag/case. Great technology to take kids on a trip without leaving the house.

Love the Samsung VR. Bought it for my husband for christmas but had my doubts how good it would be. The only downfall would be how hot the galaxy s6 gets whIle using it. You can't use it for too long without a cool down message

Easy, inexpensive start to VR. I love watching movies on this things, netflix, hulu, the endless amounts of cool 360 video content constantly being made, plus my own videos i can watch. I love being able to go anywhere and step in someone elses shoes. See what they see, almost first hand. A one of kind experience. The only downside is Samsung didnt build vents in the device. So, if its humid where you are siting or you've been running the device too long the goggles fog up....if you ever have overheating issues, always close all apps before you start and turn the brightness down. ...Then, you can too binge episodes of House of Cards for 4 straight hours like a true first worlder.

I have always wanted VR goggles and these do not dissapoint. In fact I saw the goggles and tried them in the store which convinced me to go and upgrade my phone to a Samsung so I could use these!! The pictures look so real and I feel like I am there. Being able to use Netflix is super cool! Go buy these!!

this is a great electronic to have around the home for kids and adults alike. The only downside is that there are limited amount of games and many are pay to play but as long as you are aware of this it is a great option

This has the wow factor as it looks cool to watch, but it makes my Samsung S7 Edge run hot. I have had to shut if off and wait multiple times while using it with the Gear VR. Also, it really drains your battery fast and you have to take your phone out of it's case to use the Gear VR and then put your case back on which is quit a hassle! If you could wirelessly transmit to the Gear VR without needing to put it in the device, I would give this five stars despite the running hot and shorter batter life.

These Samsung VR Goggles are unreal! They are so much fun and everyone who has tried them has said they want a pair. I would totally recommend to anyone who is a technology geek, like me :)

The Gear VR was included with my pre-order, for the Galaxy S7. I wasn't expecting much, but I have to admit, it's pretty impressive, as a VR device. It does have some issues/limitations though. I believe it only works with the S7 and S6 (not 100% sure on that). It is designed to fit a particular size/shape phone, which also means, you can not use it with your case. I have to remove my case, every time I use the device. The headset provides an adjustment, for the distance to your eyes, but does not offer adjustments for people who have eyes further away, or closer together, than the average headshape. It does provide room for glasses, which I wear. For someone who is nearsighted, it's not necessary to have my glasses on, since the device sits close to your eyes. But, I have tried the headset, with my glasses on, and I found it to sufficient space for them. The headstraps could have been a bit longer. I have a larger head, and with the straps set at the absolute max, it still fits very tight on my head. I saw reviews, for the previous version, where people complained the straps were too long. I think Samsung went too far shortening them. It would be nice if I could order longer replacements. Only Oculus compatible apps will run on this. When you first plug in your phone, it will install the Oculus app. All compatible apps are then installed within that app. The app selection is limited, and most seem gimmicky... and overpriced. If you want to watch 3D or 360 videos, on youtube, you need to use the built in browser, which isn't very good. If you want to watch Amazon prime video, or HBO Go, it's currently not possible. Netflix does have an app, which puts you in a living room setting, instead of just watching the video. Overall, I would say it's a cool device, but it needs more apps, to exit the 'gimmick' stage, and become a serious device. Hopefully that will come with time. At $100, I would not buy this device (currently). For $50, maybe. For free (like I got it), definitely worth owning.

Not too shaby, it definitely gives you the sensation of teleportation to another location. However, it is more than I expected. For one it may be the phone but the overheating alert comes up too often for comfort. The device feels too bulky and fogging of the lenses eventually occurs. The dialer to adjust to your personal vision is not enough to fit your needs and I expected more apps to be available. Theres definitely rooms for improvement and for the price it seems well worth it.

It is really cool and neat idea. Entertaining, but I wish you could watch live events such as sports on it through the WATCHESPN app. That would be really awesome.

This headset is great I just wish the Galaxy S6 wouldn't overheat after 30 minutes of use in it. Watching Netflix on this device is almost like being in a theater.

I bought this for my 13 year old son for his birthda . Yes has yet to receive it, but I'm sure when he does he will probably never come out of his room again. I am not a gamer, but the graphics on this thing is mind blowing. Can't wait to see the look on my son's face when he tried it out.

Pretty amazing technology and with a lot of potential. Con: There is not enough app/videos and stuff to do for now, but I am pretty sure they will get over it. If you can afford it as a personal screen, get it.
