I have the previous version that came with the 6E and this looks and feels better, less overheating than the previous version.

The first time I experienced the gear a big WoW ! you just don't play games , you do much more .. a toy for the whole family ..

Put the Gear VR on and what an experience. Like being in another world - so life like. Once your in out you don't want to stop.

Love the gear. A little bit of a pain to get started with all the software and updates. Helps to read the instructions to get started. (I was a little excited and skipped them at first) Biggest drawback is that it pinches my nose a bit, not painful, just a little annoying when trying to breath through my nose. Keep an eye on not overusing vr. It really messes with your head.

This is a lot of fun and the whole family can enjoy it. It is weird at first, but fun once you get into whatever your watching.

I had my heart set on the Samsung Gear VR as soon as I saw them in the store. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product and I'm still glad I went through with the purchase. A couple of things that I think Samsung could do to move it to an outstanding product would be to build in a system for cooling the gear down and also adding in separate focus adjustments for each eye.

The Samsung VR system is probably the best cell phone based VR system or at least tied with the new Google system. That being said, that is a low bar to jump compared the the Cardboard and other cheap systems out there (or even not so cheap Zeiss systems). The biggest feature that this is missing is an adjustment for intra-ocular distance. Some of the cheap VR goggles have this but then are handicapped by other features. The Samsung VR blends the best since it is designed for only one system (Samsung phones) but the lack of intra-ocular adjustment makes this a pain (literally) to use. The lenses on the Gear VR are way better than many of the other goggles with the exception of the Zeiss but that is all thrown out the window when you get headaches trying to collimate the image (that is, if your eye distance isn't the exact width that Samsung set their goggles for). I'm not even going to go into all the shortcoming of VR from phones because they are way too much but suffice it to say, I was bored within a week. Probably not worth the investment.

This headset has been a fantastic addition to my Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge. Provides hour of great entertainment. Highly recommend!!

I love this product. It is so much fun to use..MyGrandson had his friends over to try it . They all had so much fun playing with it.

Not much of a gamer but this thing is something everybody should experience!

To be honest I don't use it. My husband loves it, he's the gamer in the family.

This thing is amazing. Everyone that has tried it and loved it. It's almost more fun to watch people when they play it. Loads of fun

With my S7, the quality is nice enough for me to suspend my disbelief. However, it has some huge design flaws: The app sizes are massive (over 200MBs average), and they can't be moved onto an SD card. That means you're going to fill your phone memory up very quickly. Without my air conditioner on, it'll overheat after an hour, and force me to cool it down. I've had to buy a gel pack to counteract this. Some games do make you dizzy after a while. But for just $99, I'd say it's worth it. Screenshots won't do it justice. Space can't be captured in flat images alone.

Fun to play with. Not a fancy Vr system but good entertainment.

The whole family has had fun with this, from 65 years of age to 8. Not too hard to set up and lots of programs to use with it.

Easy to put together and install the software should only take 5-10 minutes

Makes your phone turn in to a while new world looking virtual reality awesome gadget must give it a try and not the knock offs

It was fun to use when we brought it home. Not something we use everyday though.

When I tried the headset in best buy I had to have it. And the low price locked me in. Very cool experience and my kids love it.
