This is an excellent product for beginners to college-level students. The battery life is extended, and recharging this product is quick and effortless.

Be Careful guys, Ever since the brought this Total Tech, or what ever they call it now, when you buy something, they try to push is Total Tech thing instead of their regular warranty. Regular warranty in my case was a 3year warranty for a laptop and the total Tech program is only for one year at 179.99+Tax. Almost double of what the 3yr is alone. You'll pay almost double the price. 3yr warranty price totally worth it IMO.

Love having this protection. It is a security blanket in case something happens.

I spilt hot green tea on my keyboard. So I called. Sent the unit back to Best Buy/ Geek Squad. Then I get an email at 11PM on a Friday night telling me: "The costs to repair your product have now reached your plan's maximum benefit amount. This means the terms of your plan have been fulfilled and your Geek Squad® Protection Plan coverage has ended." So, am I getting a replacement or a store credit? I don't know. It doesn't say. The warranty says it could be either/ or. So I guess I will spend my Saturday morning, or my Monday morning, calling and chatting my way up the information food chain so I can find out what is or is not going to happen. This type of notification without all the information is a total fail for Best Buy and Geek Squad. There is really no excuse for this. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate that, (at least I hope), that I will get a replacement or store credit. But I have no idea which. Am I looking for a computer to be delivered? Do I have a store credit floating out there somewhere? And just when exactly will I find out this necessary information? This info should have been in the email I received at 11PM on a Friday. Stay tuned. Let's see how they handle this. Will I ever know? Will they even care. Jesus, take the wheel.

Just got the laptop for my child for Christmas this year so it’s good to have that plan when purchase

The "Squad" knows their stuff. Unfortunately, there are limitations to what they are allowed to do. For example: I had an issue with my trade in and couldn't leave it for them to finish the task. Just a bit of hassle.

Necessary because is for my grandkid. He is 10 year old.

I brought my computer into the store after I was told that they would be able to help me at any time if needed. I was given mis information as I was unable to even have a diagnostic run without paying $100. I would need to purchase a plan for $199.

I never buy anything expensive without purchasing the warranty. I have used them in the past and Best Buy makes it easy to repair or repkace items quickly.

Geek Squad service is great! Efficient, professional team!

Life is full of surprises and not all of them are good. I glad to have peace of mind should my Lenovo crashes or I need some help with it. It's nice to know that my new Lenovo is in good hands should I need a helping hand.

Chromebook is well manufactured. The purchase price is very reasonable for the use needed. Both of my boys, (middle school & high school ) prefer to use this Chromebook vs. the one provided by their school. I highly recommend this Chromebook for those parents shopping for their kids for school. Lightweight, keypad size and pad, perfect.
