Other business manufacturers will NOT offer you that coverage! They only warrant specifics. And with Best Buys customer service, you don't have to wait for long; they immediately assist you with your needs and send you on your way without a long wait time! Don't quote me, simply ask a Best Buy representative on what their warranty covers, and you'll see why it's a great deal to pay a little more for its security. I had bought a Nikon 750 camera and loved it up to the day I accidentally dropped it while it was in an unzipped camera backpack. That was a very sad day. I took the camera to BestBuy Geek Squad and it was sent it immediately. The only catch is that you need to call the store to schedule an appointment. It was gone for 2 weeks when I was contacted and notified that it was not repairable. My only complaint was that I was given an email from Geek Squad to provide more information to the repair person before the repair could be made. I had called the provided number and got the run around for about 2 hours. Finally, I was put in contact with the repair company and they gave me the details. From there, it was easy. I stopped by the Best Buy store, got my initial purchase amount refunded and then was able to purchase a new camera. Thank you Best Buy.
