I haven’t had to use the Geek Squad Protection Plan yet, but just knowing it’s there gives me real peace of mind. My kid takes his laptop to school every day, and accidents can happen—drops, spills, or just wear and tear. It’s comforting to know that if something goes wrong, we’re covered. The plan was easy to set up, and the coverage seems thorough—from hardware issues to accidental damage. As a parent, it’s one less thing to worry about. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone with a student who relies on their device daily.

Best Buy did a right by using Geek Squad to help customers with services. The team is very bright and does a great job with customer service as well

This was a lifesaver! My kids computer turned itself off, wouldn't turn on, and smelled like burning when we tried to charge it. We took it to them, they replaced the motherboard, we brought it home, before we even got it set back up, the whole thing happened again. We took it back. They sent it out again. It came back. It was apparently still broken. They traded it out for a not broken or preused computer. We are super happy! Plus the people there were just awesome! I am immunocompromised, as soon as they found out, they started using hand sanitizer, masks were pulled out, the works. I absolutely the adored how well taken care of we were!

I used to use geek squad alot in the past but havent since getting it new. I plan to take advantage when i do need help!

What a freaking joke. I buy a Asus ZenBook DUO. Nice machine. My store doesn't carry it... so if I want it I have to buy it online. I open the box and the Asus Pen it come with is broken... the button on the pen is no longer attached, I spend two weeks in email hell with ASUS until they finally tell me to contact where I bought it. Long story short best buy.com says... "we don't sell the pen... you'll have to return the whole computer to get the pen". I've spent two weeks getting this machine just the way I want it... I am not sending it back... OR you could go to your local store... I go to my local store... nothing in stock, they don't sell the ASUS pen so they don't know why bestbuy.com would send me to the store when there is nothing they can do. All around customer service F's for everyone. If I had opened the pen right away... I would have brought it all in... but after two week with ASUS dinking around...

I can’t say enough good things about the Geek Squad team! I brought in my laptop after it completely crashed during an important project. Giving this a 5 star so far for the value, nice addition when buying a new laptop just for the peace of mind and knowing there are several Geek Squad locations. I have not needed to use the service itself yet.

This product works like it is supposed to and the coverage is good for a year

This is a high quality laptop, decent battery life, beautiful screen and exudes high status. The sound is clear, the ports are sufficient. WIFI and bluetooth don't drop or provide issues. Ideally , more customization should be offered with "My ASUS" center, but they do a decent job. Asus makes quality products, but you really want to purchase a warranty with Best buy. Gamer's Nexus has performed the video's and Best Buy's warranty is something I've had to use in the past and have full confidence in. Between BB and Dell, they both have great warranties, you pay for them, but they're reliable. However, Dell's offerings in terms of laptops are limited bios that limit users so you never really feel like you own the product. I've used enough of their products to know, but overall Asus is nice, but do not trust them. Thus 4/5 despite being a 5/5 product. Time will tell, but if something goes wrong I know I can trust best buy.

Have had this for 4 years love it so much I just wish extending the protection plan wasn’t so expensive

I cannot provide enough praise for the Geek Squad at Warwick RI under the leadership of Corrine. She is amazing. The team is knowledgeable friendly and professional They made the post process of buying a new laptop and setup etc a stress free experience. Highly recommend the services they provide. Well worth the cost!

Hopefully I'll never need the "Geek Squad", but I got the 1 yr protection to be on the safe side!

I didn’t end up using because my laptop was in good condition and I had now issues with my computer it’s still works great.

After enrollment with geek squad, i thinks this was what doing, i will forever be greatful to this great team of young mind for setting the pace.
