I havent yet had to use it (which is a good thing) but I bought it for additional protection.

Better to have it and not need than need it and not have it..

I would doubt if I was paying attention to the sales person's pitch for this service. I suspect that I made the mistake of not hearing details well. I thought I would pay a one-time fee, and in hindsight, it is a monthly fee. I had a good experience with this service plan a few years ago, so I suspect that I agreed to buy it while not paying attention. A worthy warranty plan for some items, be sure you understand the total fees.

Always get the geek squad protection plan. It's definitely worth the money and peace of mind
