    Sadly, my computer was stolen within a few months of me purchasing it. I called Geek Squad to find out if there were any options available to me since I had purchased insurance once I bought my HP computer. The Geek Squad professional simply replied, “no we don’t have any options available,” and we disconnected our call. Does not cover lost, or stolen devices at all, only faulty devices from my understanding. The manufacturer offers 1 year of insurance and Geek Squad capitalizes on that by offering you insurance for a longer period of time that covers nothing!

While Geek Squad Accidental Protection for computers would generally cover more than what the manufacturer covers (drops and spills), it wouldn't cover a lost/stolen computer.
