So let me share my agony. Purchased my 23 yr old Daughter a 65” TV for Christmas. It was really for my 1yr Granddaughter…SHHHH! Well I mounted it on the wall, of course, and within a month or two they moved into another apartment without the roommates. Before place was remodeled for them they spent 3 weeks at her In-Laws. Well I moved them both times and when TV was turned on again after two moves, though seemingly perfect, the screen had apparently been pressed to hard at a single point and did not work. Not worth fixing. Bought her a 70” this time WITH THE WARRANTY!! Don’t make the same mistake I did :]

I would advise getting Geek Squad coverage for anything over $100. It covers so much.

Best Buy's replacement plan is by far the best warranty ever provided by any electronics store and cannot be compared because they have helped me for the past 10 years because the devices that I would buy in truth always turned out to be those odd devices that they either don't have on the Shelf anymore or I have too many times where they came and fixed it but something always went wrong with it within five years so get that protection plan and Best Buy will take care of you they have taking care of me they will for you

The television protection plan for the Geek Squad is nice for the price that we purchased it for. If anything happens to the television we are able to get quick results because we purchased the plan for any issues that may occur. With an item that size I think it a great idea to purchase a protection plan.

It is worth every penny. You should not purchase anything without Geek Squad protection.

Had to use my Geek Squad Service just 2 months before it was expired on my 75" TCL ROKU TV .. IT WAS REPLACED WITH AN UPGRADED MODEL AND I BOUGHT ANOTHER 5 YEAR GEEK SQUAD SERVICE..

A protection plan is great if you're overly cautious and almost a must if you have children. Would highly recommend for purchases over $100, especially if they have a lot of moving parts.

Geek Squad has always been responsive and helpful when needed. Highly recommend covering all technology.

Had an issue with the TV 19 months after purchase. Geek squad will replace it. Glad I got the protection plan.

When I purchased my first big purchase Tv, I found that Hisense had a great deal on one of their more budget premium options but I was hesitant because of quality control concerns. In the end there was a minor issue with the panel of my tv a couple years into owning it. When I called geek squad about the issue I was able to get my entire tv replaced!! They helped turn a curse into a blessing. Worth every penny.
