Best Buy did well helping me get a replacement for my Samsung 65" TV. They gave me about $450 for my old TV which really helped me be able to get a high quality new one. The warranty was well worth was it cost me to purchase.

I highly recommend adding Geek Squad when buying from Best Buy. They set everything up quickly, answered all my questions, and made sure everything worked perfectly. Super friendly and professional—well worth it for the extra support and protection!

I paid for a 2year warranty. When tv went out and i called, i was told they didnt sell the tv in that size(58") any longer so i would have to pay $80 difference for a bigger one,plus $63 for a new warranty or they would refund me for what i payed for tv a year ago. Im confused. What was the need for a warranty if they werent going to honor it? Customer service is nasty and very unprofessional.

I originally purchased an open box item with the Geek Squad protection only to find the excellent condition was not even close with the screen of my television suffering severe damage. After trying to deal with the Geek Squad over the phone and being very frustrated with what I am assuming is an India based phone center, I gave up and took my issue directly to my local Best Buy store where it took some time, but I was eventually told I could receive a replacement television since the damage could not be repaired. Within 24 hours, the Geek Squad came to my home, removed the old TV, installed the new one and was in an out in under 30 minutes. If it weren't for having to deal with an unhelpful call center the rating would be higher, but since I have a local Best Buy to work with, the protection was definitely worth it.

I would highly recommend purchasing the geek squad protection. Especially when purchasing open box products. Any issues you have with the product they will take care of with no hassle

I have not had to use the Geek Squad for this product but you need to have the ability if you need them.

Simply a Joke! Our Samsung fridge went down under our Geeks quad warranty. It works like this: First You deal with an international call center that could care less about your American problems. Next a geek squad service guy with limited repair experience will show up week 1, then after they can't fix your problem the following week another service guy from another company will service the issue and won't fix your problem. Finally, week 3 a service repair man from the same company as last will show up to repair the unit hopefully with parts, if not you should expect four total weeks for a refrigerator repair. Now if the unit that was repaired goes down you should expect the exact same routine leaving you with $500 in lost groceries, hundreds of dollars in meals away from your home and literally 2 full months to resolve the issue. We chose to buy another refrigerator elsewhere since we could no longer wait.Finally, after 2 months we finally received an ins store credit for the full amount of the fridge which did not apply to our new fridge we bought elsewhere and the broken down fridge for us to throw away with no help from Best Buy! Shame on you Best Buy!

The agent did some troubleshooting to get my surround sound system back working correctly. He was knowledgable and showed and explained everything he was doing in simple terms.

The best warranty on the market hands down. I'll always purchase Geeksquad service with my products and has never let me down once. The customer service is excellent and i've never had one issue.

Price very competative. Hisense has been good so far but GeekSQUAD was happy to answer questions. Mainly bought because we had to return a SONY and a VIZIO for failures!

Greek Squad extended warranty for tvs is worth it. We had a tv go bad after 3.5 three years and received a refund of the price to buy a new one because we purchased the 5-year warranty. The process was easy and quick.

Not had to use them for this purchase yet, which is a good review! I have utilized them in the past and have had positive results.

im really glad i buy the extended warranty as you never know what will happen in the future and if your like me you dont have alot of money to throw around at times. so its good to pay a little more now then alot later when you may have to pay a whole lot or be out whatever it is at the time. personally think its worth it as the one year warranties are usually very limited and if u dont find ur item under their exact perimeters then you cannot make a claim.

I have yet to actually score this review for the TV because idk what it exactly cost so i’ll update it later

I've used Geek Squad before on other purchases and it comes in handy. I just don't like the fact that the TV come with one year warranty, so as soon as you purchase The Geek Squad protection, the protection cards immediately, so I basically only got one year protection. Not not a good idea in my book. It should kick in once my one year warranty is over that came with the TV, so I thought.

Geek squad has helped me and my family so much over the years. I will never forget when my computer was messed up and they helped fix it! Awesome staff and great in store support!

I live near the Best Buy in Aventura area. Note: for the most part I do all of my electronics purchase from the aventura store. I happened to be near the Best Buy in Hialeah so we stopped by and purchase a Sony tv from them Along with a extended warranty one year to the date it broke, I then call the geeks They came out six or seven times they were unavailable to fix the problem. So the geek called the aventura store since it’s only a few minutes away to see if they would help on the exchange and aventura Best Buy declined to do anything about this issue. Then they called the Hialeah store and spoke to the manager Hector and he accept to take the tv back with no Additional charge to me. All of this has taken 5 months to be resolved, I believe that I purchase the tv at Best Buy and the Best Buy at aventura Should have looked at it more clearly. Best Buy in Aventura lost a customer and Best Buy in Hialeah has gain one&

Electronics are so expensive and more defective nowadays, you'd be crazy not to get the warranty.

This is the perfect tv for a small bedroom, the image is great, colors pop, very bright display. Easy to setup and light enough to mount up with no real issues. Best buy made this pickup a breeze. For the prize even including warranty, 10/10.
