Customer service is absolutely horrible, especially when combined with best buy customer service. I purchased protection plan on a tv from best buy, said tv stopped working. I have been waiting on a replacement tv going on 3 months now, everytime they schedual an appointment to bring a tv and I change my daily plan to accommodate it they send a text telling me I have to reschedule. That in itself takes 20 to 30 minutes. My customer satisfaction with geek squad AND best buy is ZERO. I will not ever purchase anything from either again.

TV got here safe and sound without any breaks in the display.

Have been a Best Buy customer for over 20 years. They stand by what they sell and the Geek Squad is always there to help. Did not use them for my most recent purchase but would recommend them to assist in TV and surround sound installation to those that need it.

They come out pretty timely, but never does one visit suffice. THey always have to come and diagnose then order parts and then return sometimes up to 3 times. But the service does cover repairs, and if the same problem exists 3 times, they will replace your item.

Worth it especially since appliances are but built to last anymore

Absolutely a must-have. The Geek Squad service has always done right by us; be it taking our soundbar to their facility to be repaired or replacing our TV when things started not working. Please do yourself a favor and ensure your long-term purchases have backup beyond that warranty you'll never be able to navigate like Geek Squad!

I always purchase this service when i purchase large items. Usually, i do not need the service, but when electronics fail this service is worth every penny.

It was super easy to sign up for an account before I made my purchase of a brand new tv. Best Buy made that easy for me. A place where I go for all my appliances and electronic needs. They're so friendly and always quick to help. I love my Best Buy

Since the tv was on sale, I bought the protection for a great buy and now can relax if something happens in the next 5 years with my tv. You never know how long something will work but I’m protected if it stops working.

I've had two Samsung flat screens die at the 4 year mark. I had the 5 year warranty on the, First time it only cost me around $100 for a replacement. This time I switched to Sony and it cost me a couple hundred over the warranty refund. So I purchased the the 5 yr warranty on the Sony.

This plan is for five years so it gives the freedom to have my tv services and save me money on the cost of repairs.

Equipment or Appliance extended is my warm blanket of security. Anything goes wrong...Best Buy will make it right. Geek Squad always helpful...being an older person it's nice that while I don't know much the individual(s) behind the GEEK desk have always been patient. Warm blanket & Kindness...doesn't get much better than that! :)

Figures out to be $10 a year, well worth it.As my other tv lasted 4 1/2 years.

Perfect Dorm Room Size Smart Television! Purcahsed for a new college goer and its loved. Geek Squad hasnt had to be used yet but its always great to have extra protection. Purchased because its better go be safe than sorry.

Great value if you can’t afford to replace the tv. I’ve never had to use geek squad. The policy goes into effect after one year of purchase. Sometimes dealing with Sony or lg isn’t the best experience. Depending on how big your tv is you might value the in home service.

Very good havnt try it yet but will soon but i got to get another tv first

I havent used it but it does offer peace of mind knowing im covered.

I was happy with Insignia 50" bought two, one went down a year later, glad I purchased a warranty! I would purchase purchase again only with warranty. I purchased two 50" Samsung's that lasted 2 and 3 years that didn't have warranty. I have a 48" Panasonic Plasma from 2008 that's still strong. I have family and friends that own Insignia for years with no issues. Bottom line, luck of the draw, buy a warranty!
