It's essential to have this protection because you never know if a device will be good or not. It may come with a manufacturing defect that isn't usually noticed at first, but after a certain amount of use, a problem arises. That's what Geek squad protection is for. Nothing bad to say at this time. The price was good.....$79.99 for five years coverage ( no accidental coverage ). Everything else is covered and they'll come to your house to fix it.
