I rarely have something go wrong with electronics, but on a fairly big purchase, like a smart TV, it makes sense, since the standard warranty can leave you without use of the device for weeks if something goes wrong. With this, I can get a replacement or repair in no time.

Ordered 4 40" tvs all at the same time for a project. Everything was going fine until I opened the last box (#4). No image, just the line/shape screen, well actually I could see some of the menu to the left. Called Best Buy, said you're over 13 days, can't help you. Called Vizo next, at first they said 1 year warranty, but the next day and a few emails it was determined it was a Best Buy problem and they can't help us. Unfortunately we had to buy a 5th TV to complete the project.

I had no problem getting 5-year protection via phone. The individual was so helpful, attentive and answered all of our questions. It was the easiest purchase ever. Thank you

I liked the TV in the beginning loved I had all the apps that my kids could use to watch shows but not the Volume no longer works, and I am hoping it is just a minor issue and the sound will come on.

Geek Squad protection for my TV is great. Used it for the first time and the agents that came to my house were professional and explained each step of the process. Unfortunately, they could not fix my TV so I ended up with a new one just as described.

Electronics tend to fail at times. That's why the Geek Squad Protection is necessary when buying a new device. Great service at a great price.

Five years for $30, sold! I bought this warranty for a low priced Insignia television and it just seems like a no-brainer that for $30 I am guaranteed to have a TV that works for five years. In this disposable electronics time we live in, I could not upgrade in three years for $30, so again it is a great deal.

Although many people don't like paying extra for protection plans, it gives me peace of mind. I have had some unexpected mishaps with my devices and knowing that I can make an appointment and get my device fixed without an additional cost is worth it to me.

The Geek Squad has been there every time I have had problems with my computer. Never a hassle about how it happened or who did what. Only once I had to bring my computer in to the store for them to repair it because I had really screwed it up. Otherwise they can usually repair it over the phone for me. Three cheers for the Geek Squad.

Haven’t needed the Geek Squad for this particular item as of yet because I’ve only had it for a month but in the past Geek Squad was worth it so I purchased it

Geek squad warranties always a good choice for me. I’ve purchased a warranty on almost everything electronic I buy and have only had to use it once. Excellent quality and service! Spend the extra money. It’s worth it because you never know.

i'm really glad my new 43" 4K TV came with it. it was a reasonable price too, i decided i didn't need the 5 year one because that was too long. the two year for an extra $20 was perfect! I am worried something might happen to the TV one day, so i decided to get it.

Happy with this! I am less worry about what can happen in the future

I have not used this for my purchase recently, thoigh i will say my previous experiences with Geek Squad was useful to me.

It’s worth it for the price. You will need to get the geek squad in case something happens to the TV or anything that you buy so it’s worth it.

I mounted the TV Myself but the people were very helpful with all the advice they gave me, I appreciate all the recommendations and good energy I was given

I feel better having Geek Squad extended warranty protection than without it. Purchasing these warranties in the past has always paid off and worked out well. The Geek Squad techs know what they are doing.

I feel that the geek squad is better than any warranty. Just contact them and your issue is handled quickly.

Absolutely recommend adding a Geek Squad protection plan to your purchase. They are extremely helpful and can save you a lot of money and trouble. They replaced my tv and the process was very easy.

BELIEVE ME, this is the best purchase you can buy when buying these new large-screen OLED TVs. New technology can cause various problems and having this warranty coverage has saved me now twice on previous 77" TVs. Well worth the money over time.
